Once Isabella hung up the phone, she threw her phone on the sofa in anger. She then shouted angrily, "What type of luck is this? That little witch is on a roll. How did she get acquainted with Joseph Dawson and also with Hardy Anthony? Is she that great?"

"What should we do now? Are we going to just sit and watch?" Sophia asked.

"Of course not. Hardy probably doesn't know about her scandals in the past. We should find a way to let Hardy know about him and Joseph. I don't think he'll still be interested in him after knowing about that."

"But we don't even know him well enough. How are we going to tell him these?" Sophia asked.

"We should look for Elizabeth Green. Since we share the same enemy, we can be friends. Let's tell her about what happened between Paige and Hardy. Ethan is in such a bad state while Paige is having the time of her life. I'm sure Elizabeth would not be happy to see her like that."

In the Dawson family, Hayden was all smiles in the living room as Lucas reported everything about Joseph to him.

"After having their dinner, Mr. Dawson and Miss Anthony went to Climax Space yesterday night until around 11 o'clock. He then sent her home too."

"He's probably attracted to her, right?" Hayden asked.

"Ms. Anthony is so beautiful, smart and observative. There's no reason for Sir Joseph to reject her."

"That's good. What is happening with Paige recently?"

"They have not contacted each other. Sir Joseph returned to the villa last night."

"That's good! I hope that he will be attracted to Paisley," Hayden laughed and said happily.

"But there was a small argument between Sir Joseph and Hardy today," Lucas told Hayden about what had happened at Acma Corporation that day.

Hayden was surprised.

"So Joseph had the upper hand today? That's just great! He is indeed my son. But how did he know James Field?"

"Perhaps it's because of Sir Aiden and Michael? After all, James has always been close with them", Lucas guessed.

"Sir Charles must have wanted to make Sir Joseph look bad. But he didn't expect Sir Joseph to have another plan of his own. He had dealt Sir Dawson and Hardy a strong blow."

"That embarrassing guy... I always thought that he was a good kid. I can't believe that he's so filthy. If it weren't for him, my dear Joseph... He would have been better than Hardy."

He didn't believe that Charles would let him go together to such important meetings. So he didn't take it seriously.

Besides, after he saw the news of Paige and Hardy, he couldn't sleep all night.

So when he was still asleep, Charles' secretary had called him to be at Acma Corporation in a short time.

Joseph laughed coldly. Was Charles trying to set him up?

Joseph hadn't planned to make Charles look bad. But since he had gone overboard, Joseph had to put on that act with James.

He could finally teach Charles and Hardy a lesson that day. It was very rewarding for him.

Hayden would definitely praise Joseph and if he did that, Charles would be unable to hold his anger.

Joseph could just imagine how funny it would be. He totally had the upper hand.

Charles entered his office and sat down angrily. Elizabeth then walked in and said, "Hubby, did things go well today?"

"Go well? It was horrible, man. Joseph had connections with James Field. He embarrassed Hardy today and even made my plan go to waste."

"He knows James Field? Why would James be acquainted with a good-for-nothing like Joseph?" Elizabeth asked in surprise.

"How would I know? It was probably Aiden or Michael that introduced them. Anyway, Joseph has made dad proud today. Besides, dad has always been biased towards Joseph. I can just imagine his expression after what happened today."

Thinking about it made Charles feel annoyed. Judging by how Hayden doted on Joseph, he would definitely be full of praises for him.

Elizabeth had not expected things to take such a drastic turn.

"Isabella called to tell me about Hardy and Paige's relationship. She said that Paige is the reason why Hardy agreed to the collaboration with Liam's company in building an amusement park. He even let her work long-term as the chief designer at Acma Corporation, especially for this project."

"She sure is something to make Hardy change his attitude," Charles sneered when he thought of how Joseph made Hardy look bad that morning.

"Why would he embarrass Hardy by calling James? Could it be because he was jealous about him and Paige?"

"It's possible. Think about it. Joseph has no exceptional traits other than being handsome. Hardy, on the other hand, is handsome, talented and is in charge of a big company. Paige would rather be with Hardy."

Charles' eyes shone in excitement. If Paige really fell in love with Hardy, Joseph would definitely fall out with Hardy. And they might even get into a fight.

"Why don't you go try and ask Joseph about it?"

Elizabeth went knowingly to Joseph's office.
