Paige spent the whole afternoon complaining, so Abbie brought her to Wolf Group to fill her stomach.

Their car came to a halt at the entrance of Wolf Group. Right at this time, Joseph's Bentley stopped beside their car.

Joseph sat in the car and looked at Paige while she coldly ignored him. She didn't even spare him a glance. Abbie then pulled her into the building together.

Joseph shook his head and got out of his car. He just followed behind them.

Noticing that Joseph was following behind, Abbie whispered, "Paige, Joseph is behind us. Do you think he came to apologize?"

"Just ignore him. I get mad when I see his face! His apologies are meaningless," Paige scoffed.

"Alright, as you wish. Let's pretend we don't know this person at all."

As they spoke, they entered the elevator.

Joseph, who was behind them, strode forward. Just as the elevator door was about to close, he reached out to block the door and stepped right in.

Abbie and Paige moved to one corner of the elevator to be as far away from his as possible. However, Joseph didn't bother at all and he moved towards Paige instead.

Abbie was speechless. Why was Joseph so brazen?

Seeing that Joseph's body was about to lean on Paige's, Abbie quickly switched position with her.

The elevator stopped at the restaurant.

Paige and Abbie hurried out of the elevator while Joseph followed behind slowly.

Abbie turned around and glared at him. "Why the hell are you following us, you shameful sh*t?"

Joseph raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything. He walked past them and disappeared at the end of the walkway.

Abbie scoffed and said, "He must have done that on purpose. I'm sure he would have clung to you like a little kid if you have smiled at him just now!"

Paige remained silent as she was feeling very irritated.

The two of them entered their reserved room and they quickly sat down. Abbie ordered some dishes and started to check her phone.

"What the hell? Who did this? Could it be Ethan Green, that scum? Why would he slander Joseph like

that? This is crazy!"

Paige tilted her head to have a look. When she saw the huge headlines, her face immediately darkened.

"I bet this is the work of Ethan and Sophia Martin. They really are the perfect scumbag couple!"

"D*mn, they really have the balls to do this even after knowing Joseph's identity? That's pretty bold, isn't it? But don't you think it seems like Joseph doesn't have any status at home? Even an outsider has outdone him this time!" Abbie couldn't help but feel sympathy for Joseph suddenly.

"The thing between you and Joseph, it was Ethan that caused it. He and Sophia tried to manipulate you, that's why you ended up being with Joseph. And now they are saying that Joseph was the one who came to you first? That's disgusting! Hey, do you think the rumours about Josephs were all made up?"

"Who knows? But he's definitely not innocent, or else there wouldn't be so many scandals about him" Paige became more annoyed.

"Hm, I don't know for sure, but my brother once told me that Charles is not a good brother. When he was still abroad, he repressed Joseph a lot as he was afraid that Joseph would try to fight for the family inheritance. I kinda pity Joseph a little."
