The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Chapter 1293

Winter, who had been craning her neck to listen in on the call, quickly turned away when Frank hung up, feigning ignorance. Naturally, she could not fool Frank-he did not blame her, however, and instead patted her head and chuckled.

She would be his apprentice from now on.

It was a little ridiculous in a way, seeing that his mentor's daughter would become his apprentice instead of becoming her fellow.

"Hmph. How meddlesome..."

Hearing the tactless grumble, Frank turned to see a long-haired girl wearing thick-makeup.

Though she was basically a four, she was a seven thanks to her elaborate makeup.

On the other hand, Winter just needed basic makeup to reach eight point five, even nine.

Nonetheless, Frank was frowning when he heard the complaint.

Jean heard it too. Being blunt as she always was, she promptly snapped, "What's that supposed to mean, Yew?"

"Nothing. Tch." Yew clicked her tongue, sarcastic even as she folded her arms before her chest. "All thanks to Winter's amazing brother, our hopes for a recommendation letter went up in smoke. And for that, ladies, you'd have to work for years, even a decade more to become an actual doctor. Why don't we applaud our hero for that?!"

She stood up, clapping her hands at Frank and barely hiding her contempt.

Winter had enough-she could stand anyone insulting her, but not anyone insulting Frank.

"Do you think we're all like you?!" she snapped. "Giving up on our morals and dignity just for a recommendation letter?"Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

"Right, right. You have nothing to worry about because you have a nice brother, Winter, but we have nothing!"

Yew retorted jealously, "Do you know

how long it'll take normal people like

us to make it? Can ladies like us afford to waste our youth that only lasts a few years?!"

"That's enough!"

Frank stood up, stopping Winter from arguing further with Yew.

He could see that most of the girls felt conflicted because of his interference, and Yew made sense in a few.

How many ladies could afford to squander their youth?

That was why the recommendation letter was so important to them, and why none of them screamed for help ever as those upperclassmen molested them.

It was not their fault, and Frank's heart sank to see it.

"Alright, let's stop the argument here."

He said solemnly, leveling a sharp look at the girls around the room, "To become a proper doctor and save lives means going through trials and tribulations. Years of experience and discipline is

necessary, but so is morals net

never make it far cutting corners. As for the recommendation letter, I can write one for you as a professor of Riverton University, ensuring that you would get an internship in Zamri Hospital. I hope each of you will remember what I said."

The girls all looked up at Frank in shock.

He had the influence to ensure that they could get an internship at Zamri Hospital?!
