"If Langston were to marry me, he wouldn't be able to have kids. Mr. Lopez and Ms. Sanchez, they'd have no one to carry on for them."
Felicity hadn't planned on telling her parents, not wanting them to worry.
But after a moment's thought, she decided to tell them the truth.
So they wouldn't keep mentioning her in front of Miles or regret that they didn't end up together.
Upon hearing this, Jeffrey was stunned.
"What did the doctors say? Is the diagnosis reliable? Does it affect your health in any other way?"
