THE CEO WHO SAVED ME by Becca

Chapter 65

CHAPTER SIXTY FIVE. TWENTY TWO YEARS LATER.

The plane landed and the two female twins filled out, one was slightly taller than the other but they were both slender and elegant women just like their mother. "It's so good to be back home" Amy said excitedly as she breathed in the fresh air of New York.

They have been away for several years now because of their studies and now they are back home.

"You can bet on that," Teresa added, smiling as she looked around the airport. She was the tallest one and she was just exactly like her mum, dignified and poised while Amy was a little less than that but she was classy.

"If only Damian agreed to come with us," Amy added. Teresa scoffed," you seem not to know the kind of person your brother is, he is exactly like dad".

"Amy, Teresa " they heard a voice scream from afar and they turned. It was Cody, the daughter of Jemima and Rubby.

"Cody!!!" Amy screamed happily as she hugged her.

The three of them practically grew up together until Amy and Teresa went abroad. "Look at you all grown up," Teresa said happily as she hugged Cody. "Come off Terry, you know you are just a year older than me," she replied and the three of them laughed. "Will you girls keep talking and forget me?" Amy asked walking up to them, she had a smile on her face as she walked up to her daughters.

"Mum" they both called simultaneously and rushed to hug her. Even after so many years she still possessed the kind of charm she had years ago.

وو

See my girls' she hugged each of them equally and kissed them both on their foreheads, she was proud of her babies. "Dad didn't come?" Teresa asked.

"Your father is busy preparing for your arrival" she replied," he is preparing the dishes" "Even mum and dad are with him too," Cody added. "I can't wait to get home, I miss dad so much" Teresa said as they made their way to the waiting car. "So Damian decided to come later?" Their mother asked. At the mention of Damian, Cody's face changed for a while but she quickly masked it with a fake smile, the two sisters looked at her and made eye contact. "He will arrive at night" Amy whispered to her mum and she nodded, she also understood

why her daughter whispered to her cars.

"Pad" the two girls screamed the moment they entered the room.

"My babies" Damian said excitedly as he walked out of the kitchen, he hugged them both and kissed their foreheads.

"I missed you dad"

"I missed you too baby" Damian replied as

He hugged Amy again. "Seems like you brats have forgotten about me" Jemima sneered teasingly walking out of the kitchen with a tray of tea for everyone.

"How can you say that aunt, you are my favorite" Teresa replied and walked up to her before pouncing into her embrace, Amy too did the same. They were all purposely avoiding talking about Damian because of Cody, they didn't want her to feel bad or anything. The two of them were dating years ago and they suddenly broke up and none of them knew why.

"Uncle Rubby, you seem to be taking care of my aunt a lot, she is looking plumpy," Amy said and everyone laughed. "Wife, why don't you come and help me in the kitchen?" Damian spoke up as he went to stand beside his wife. "Eww dad, you shouldn't be doing this kind of romance" Teresa quaked and they laughed. "I will romance my wife how I want" he grinned and dragged her to the kitchen amidst their teasing.

"You are becoming more shameless with age hubby" she muttered when they entered but she loved the fact that even after all this years, she was the apple of his eyes "I was here before the kids right?" He asked, trapping her between himself and the counter.

"Right now is for the kids, we can continue later" she replied shyly. "Very well then wife, I will hold you to your words" he answered sleazily and walked off with the bowl of chicken soup.

Arny could feel color rush to her face, this man was really shameless.

It was past six in the evening when everything got ready and they all sat down to a big feast, over the years the two families formed a big relationship. They were all chatting and eating when the doorbell rang and one of the helpers quickly went to get it." That must be Damian" Jem burst and they all looked at Cody. "I will get the fruit salad" she quickly stood up and rushed towards the kitchen, she wasTêxt belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

wondering how he would look now. Maybe more handsome and tall, they both started dating when they were in their first year in college but something happened and they broke up before he went abroad.

"Calm down Cody, it's just Damian" she tried to calm herself down as she went into the kitchen.

The helper opened the door and Damian entered, he inherited all his father's good features but he was more handsome than him and slightly taller. He had a flirty look which would make any girl crazy for him and he had a mole sitting elegantly on his earlobe like a diamond earring "My son," Amy squealed happily as she went to hug him.

"Mum" he hugged her back smiling, They all exchanged pleasantries and he also hugged his dad.

"Why didn't you come with your sisters?" Rubby inquired.

"The team was having a send off party for me so I just had to go". "You all should allow Damian to have dinner first" Jem chipped in as she dragged him towards the dining table.

Even in all that, his eyes kept darting from one place to another to check if he would catch a glimpse of her but she was nowhere around. Everyone noticed he was looking for someone but they all decided to keep quiet. "You are looking more handsome Damian, tell me your secret" Rubby chipped in trying to make the ambiance of the room a little tense.

"I have always been handsome uncle,” he replied teasingly and smiled.

They were all engrossed in talking when Cody finally arrived with the bowl of fruit salad and immediately she locked eyes with Damian, even if she wanted to remove her eyes she just couldn't. He looked different from the last time she saw him, more handsome and more mature. If only they didn't break up she would be in his arms right now, sighing softly she

took her seat and pretended to ignore him.

Damian on the other hand could not take his eyes off of her, she was the only girl he has loved all his life but when she broke up with him five years ago, he just couldn't understand why. He tried getting her to tell him but she always avoided him and she was doing the same thing right now.

The twelve pairs of eyes kept staring at them until Damian spoke up. "Son, we should have a drink when we are done". "Okay dad" he replied and still went ahead to look at Cody. She didn't change much In these five years, still tall and skinny. He remembered she ate a lot but never gained any weight, actually she was a fitness freak. "Why don't you have these potato salads Damian, it's really good" Teresa tried passing him the bowl but he declined.

"I don't eat that anymore, I amn full. I will just take a shower and meet you in the garden dad" saying that he kissed his mother and Jem before walking upstairs. He couldn't stand the cold

treatment Cody was giving him so it was better he left.

They all watched him leave and everyone had a sour expression on their faces. Damian was someone who hardly shared whatever was going on in his mind so it was hard to decipher what was wrong with him, just like his dad but a little more reserved.

"I just remembered I have a meeting at the fitness center mum, I will get going" Cody stood up and walked out also, she didn't want to be there because she knew she would be the center of attention.

"I think I need to knock some sense into Damian" Rubby retorted and Damian's father glared at him. "Let the kids settle each other, we shouldn't meddle" he answered as a matter of fact. "I just don't like the air between them" Amy chipped in. "I will just have a little chat with Cody later, she doesn't even know how to lie. Who goes for a meeting by this time of the day?" It was Teresa who spoke up. "I will go check on my son" his mum quaked and walked upstairs.. They just got home and there was so much tension already.
