The CEO is my bodyguard

I saw the darkness in Leon’s eyes. He pick up his phone and open his message box. There was a message from Noah.

“Oh it’s Noah” I said

“Yes… I hired him again and he’s working on your case” he said… he stood up and sat at the edge of the bed. I knelt on the bed and rested my head on his neck.

He opened the message and it was a video of Rose and Jolene… talking to a girl.

“Oh… it’s that one of the editors?” I said as I recognize the girl.

Leon didn’t say anything. We watch as the girl gave half of the money to a guy whom I couldn’t identity. He went into the car I was to drive and started cutting wires…

Leon suddenly stood up and smash his phone on the well. This scared me to death.

“L… Leon!” I could only whisper as he walk into his shelf enter a code and brought out a gun. My eyes almost fell off my body.

“That bitch must die!!!!” he roar… he opened the door and rush out.

Only when the door was shut to my face did I snap back to life. I quickly run after him and grab his arm. His face was full of anger and hate.

“Leon…”

“Gem… let go of me!” he ordered.

“No… I won’t let you hurt anyone!” I said and hold him tighter.

“If you don’t let go I will hurt you with them… now… I said… LET GO!!!!” he yelled again. I was shaking all over.

“N… No…!!” I whisper, then he push me aside with one hand but I refuse to let go of his shirt. Seeing I wasn’t going to let go he torn his shirt in my hand.

“Leon please don’t… I don’t want you to kill anyone… Please… don’t do it… Leon!???…” I said but he kept on moving without looking back “please I hate it when you’re like this…!” he finally stopped his track.

Seeing he stopped I ran to him and hugged him from behind.

“Killing her won’t bring our baby back… instead of killing her let’s make them all suffer…” I said and he dropped the gun on the floor. The guards were shocked, this is the first time their master think twice before he kills someone and actually let the person go.

When we got back to the room he went straight into the bathroom. He didn’t come out for long and I understand he had to calm his self. I understand he was trying to calm down so I don’t see his bad side.

After what take like forever he calm out but his face was still having a hint of anger.

“L… Leon…”

“Go to bed… it’s late… I’ll go grab a drink…” He said but I followed him.Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

“You don’t have to avoid me… you know we promise that there will be no more…”

“Gem… just fucking let me be!!!!” he yelled.

“I was just trying to…”

“Trying to what!!!” he yelled. I know he was trying to push me away but that won’t work.

I walk closer and hugged him.

“Stop being scary… I hate it” I said and he hugged me back crying.

“I … I don’t … I don’t know… w.. what to do…” he said.

“Let’s just do this together… let figure this out together… it’s our baby so let’s get our revenge together” I said and he release me and gave a sad smile. He quickly wipe his eyes.

“Gosh… I hate crying… am not usually a crybaby” he said

“Yes you are… you are my crybaby and you look cute too…” He smiled and poke my head.

“I don’t trust that Ruth…” he said

“Why?” I asked.

“She might be the one who linked the information…”

“She’s not!” I said

“Okay… but don’t be too surprised if she turns out to be the one cause if she is… I won’t show mercy” he said

“Ruth is not the one… Leon I think you’ve over underestimated Rose…” I said

“…” He was speechless

“What?, you’re not the only one who have spy’s everywhere… I do too… My spy’s saw Rose and a midwife at the hospital…” I said

“Gem… you should know this husband of yours listen and accept fact with evidence” he said

“I have evidence too… so don’t accuse Ruth” I said and he smiled.

“This Rose… just because I have her a little drop of water she has grown too much thorns instead of flowers… I think I have to stop giving her water and start cutting her roots” he said.

Jolene got home drunk last night and her father was so angry.

“You’re spoiling that girl too much!” he yelled

“What does her being drunk got to do with me?” she asked.

“Dad mom stop okay??!!!, we have to figure a way out to get me closer to Leonel Mavis… not complaining about me being drunk…” she said

“Sonia mind the way you talk to your parents” her grandfather said.

“Mom her name now is Jolene not Sonia for crying out load” her mother yelled.

“Gem is having a life show broadcast today… she’s going to mess up big time… if Leonel Mavis should know she had an abortion for her sweet sugar daddies… he’ll leave her and come ruin to me” she said smiling.

“Do you have a plan?” dad asked.

“Don’t worry dad trust me” she said.

Leon was dressed in a black simple suit. He’ll be guarding me to my live broadcast.

“Kitten… you sure about this show?, I feel uncomfortable with this” he said as his hands trace my curves.

“It’s fine… I want to clear my name and that of our baby…” I said and he kissed my head. I wrap my hands round his neck.

“I really want to kiss you right now but I don’t want to ruin your lipstick” he said.

“You can kiss me all you want when we get back home… let’s go or we’ll be late” I said.

I wanted to use my company’s car to the broadcast center but Leon refused. He forced me to use one of his most expensive car.

When we got to the broadcasting center there was lots of reporters. I was nervous, Leon saw I was nervous he hold my hands and press them. He was trying to tell me that am not alone in this. I smiled at him as the little flame in me fired up.

“Let’s do this little wife” he said

“Okay my hubby” I replied.

Leon step down first and nodded as countless men ran out of nowhere creating a straight line and a barrier between the reporters. They were all puzzled.

Seeing a way was created and clear Leon opened my door and gave me his hands… I took his hand and step down from the car.

The reporters kept on screaming, some insulting me and others asking questions but I didn’t mind them.

“Wow… she must be dating a very rich old man…”

“Miss Gem who did you seduce to get all these???”

“You slut…”

“Why did you kill your baby!!!”

I heard the questions.

When we got inside the lady who was to interview me greeted us. She kept on looking at Leon and smiling.

“I swear if she dare come close to you am pulling her hair out” I said in annoyance and Leon chuckled, this wife of mine never seems to amuse me…
