2:
“HEY, I saw you again Red, my day is completed again. ‘Gosh!”
“Oh! I saw you again without wearing a helmet, oh, my uterus!”
“Hey, you’re delusional! You don’t have a uterus, it’s roasted!”
The group of young people who passed in front of him laughed out loud and shouted.
“Oh my Red, when will you give me a son?”
They laughed again at their jokes and pushed each other.
Red also laughed at all those young girls and women on the railroad.
That’s how he really is when these people make fun of him when they see him.
He parked his motorbike for a while to buy an energy drink at the small store here.
All right, he will also admit that he parked it on purpose because it was a tiring day for him and he sent his fellow rider and best friend Jax home, because he said he felt bad. He then delivered to two areas because he took over Jax’s remaining parcels.
He was tired so he had to recharge. And what he meant is that apart from drinking energy drinks, he needs to see Euna.
He just smiled broadly at what was running through his mind. Then he glanced at his wristwatch, it’s almost 5 PM.
He parked and positioned just right, Euna was definitely on her way on that particular road on the railroad from her job and oh, he’s smiling like an idiot right now by imagining her beautiful face. Yep, that’s the only way he can fill his battery, the moment he sees her beautiful face, he’s losing his tiredness.
“Hey, It’s you, Red!” Red winced at the implication of the word of the new approach to that store, Marites.Copyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.
Who doesn’t wince, he knows Marites just pretending to have something to buy there. He was sure she just approached him to intrigue her.
“Ah, hello,” he politely greeted her back.
“Oh, I already know there’s something or should I say, someone, you’ll wait here,” she started to tease him.
Yeah, right.
“You’re waiting for Euna here, aren’t you?” Yeah, she’s already begun to intrigue him.
“Marites, stop intriguing Red. Oh you, your gills are always living on gossip,” the old lady, who was the store owner, said.
“You, Tina, are also observant!”
“And what are you, Marites?”
He just laughed softly, especially when Marites rolled her eyes at the store owner.
Ah, they’re not fighting, they’re just joking. He is also used to these.
“Tina, I’ll just report here to Red that he’s waiting for nothing,” said Marites, pointing at him with her own finger.
“Yes?” he promptly answered the question.
He was sure he saw Euna enter this morning. So it means, the latter will pass by here because this is her only way to go home.
“Yes, no. What you’re waiting for won’t come home now. Euna is on straight duty now. My niece, who is her work partner, exchanged a day off for her, so that’s why.”
Ah, that’s right.
He just nodded, then he said goodbye to the interlocutors, “Thanks for the info, I’ll go first.”
“Come on, just go. You can go to the convenience store where Eun’s working though,” Tina suggested.
He just smiled in response. He turned to Marites to nod at her.
When he put on his helmet and started his motor, he couldn’t help but think that in such cases, the likes of Marites really have a good effect.
“Are you their shipper?”
“Wow, I can’t believe, for an old lady, you know such words very well!”
“Well, of course! I can read that on Facebook.”
“I don’t know about you. I’m leaving and there will be more.”
“Yes he is, when you get a lot of gossip!”
Red shook his head. Even though he normally hears such conversations on the railroad, he still can’t help but smile at the way people there talk to each other.
“LET’S swap our duties.” That’s what a co-worker of Euna’s text for today to her.
She doesn’t have a problem with that and sometimes those kinds of incidents are also in her favor because she’s at home all day the next day when her co-workers swap from their duties.
That kind of schedule really happens with the kind of work she has. They are open 24 hrs. She was really grateful to Reyna on such occasions because she was there to look after her nephew and nieces.
“Babeth can’t come in,” Joy said when she came out from the stockroom where she had read Babeth’s text.
“Yes, I’ve read her text as well,” she simply replied.
“Probably, she will just meet her boyfriend again.”
And we don’t have a problem or care there anymore, she hesitated to answer here but she just decided to turn her back on her and wipe their shelves there while they still don’t have customers. She would rather bother herself with cleaning than the gossip that her co -worker always wanted.
“Hey, I hope I have a boyfriend too” She even heard Joy say that.
She just shook her head and smiled. She is used to it. Even so, she is also hardworking and good to get along with. It is important in a job to have your coworker with you so that you can endure the day. That’s one of the things a person wants to achieve, not just a paid job, good co -workers should be relieved of course.
She decided to stick her earphone in one of her ears while cleaning to convey to her co-worker that she would be busy first. When she started, there was no stopping the chatter.
Minutes later, the door chime rang so she heard her co-worker greet the newcomer. “Sir, good afternoon, I’m Joy at your service!”
There is no such protocol in their store but it was Joy’s wanted so it’s up to her, she said to herself. She just secretly laughed at her co -worker.
She didn’t look at the new customer, Joy assisted the newcomer, so she just focused on cleaning the shelf.
“Miss, can I have a banana please.”
She was stunned for a moment. Could she be the one talking with the person asking for the banana …?
She didn’t look at her back and maybe she just thought she was the one he’s talking with because their bananas were on the counter, not on the coffee shelves and siopao that she was wiping right now.
“Miss, can I have a banana,” repeated by someone. It’s a man’s voice.
“Sir, our banana is on the counter,” she replied without even looking at him. “It’s in the front. There’s a basket in front of the counter.”
“Miss, can I have a banana.”
Wow! Like a broken plaque over and over?
To her annoyance, she stopped wiping, then she walked to the counter that was only a few feet away from them. The customer had not been able to get a banana for reasons she did not know.
But when she walked to the counter, she felt him following her!
She glared at Joy, who immediately handed her the banana. She reacted the same way to her because she couldn’t leave the counter. It seemed in their eyes that they were telling each other that they had another customer who was insane. Of course, it’s not in their daily work that they meet kind customers.
“Miss, can I have a banana,” the customer repeated.
Joy giggled. No longer restrained. She, on the other hand, couldn’t help but laugh and she was disgusted with their crazy customer.
When she got a banana, she immediately confronted the customer behind her to hand him the banana. “Sir here’s the banana-”
“Cute,” the customer said without hesitation.
When she looked at his face, she realized it was Red!
She could no longer control herself, she jokingly pressed the banana to his nose.
“Aw!” Red pretended to complain about his own nose.
Joy’s giggle was heard behind her. Obviously, she knows it was the rider! She and Red clearly agreed not to tell her!
Red, who was the reason she didn’t know it was him, was already wearing a helmet, even wearing a face mask that riders are used to wearing.
“How dare you!” she said. When she was about to hit him with the banana again, he grabbed her arm.
Red laughed. “Didn’t you get the joke?”
Her eyebrows furrowed. “What’s the joke? Are you crazy? You’re here again to cause trouble!”
“Miss, can I have a banana- cute!”
Oh, stupid!
“Euna, what is it? Tell me you’re not slow!” Red joked even more at her after she sniffed the joke he was saying. He even shook slightly while holding her wrist.
She met its eyes. “I’m not really slow. You’re just really crazy, Red!”
Red laughed out loud. Surprising. He seemed so delighted with his own joke that she didn’t know where he had been found.
Instead of removing his grip on her wrist, she was stunned while watching him laughing…
“He’s getting the banana,” Joy said happily, so she was woken up from an afternoon dream, her attention shifted to her.
“What’s the cute connection to the banana that he got over and over again?”
Joy giggled again. “He told you, isn’t it, can I have a banana, he knows that even if you’re doing something, you’ll still get him a banana at the counter. So, when you take the banana, he says, you’re cute. When he sees you-banana cute instead of banana cue!”
“Huh?” She doesn’t get it, seriously. So when she looked back at Red she asked him, “What’s that nonsense?”
“I wish for just a banana, but you’re cute,” he said, accompanied by a wink.
Wink that … ahm, made her tickle…
But wait, banana, banana cue, or even banana is cute, nothing is important to her anymore because her attention suddenly went to the place where she didn’t realize that they were the rider’s palm …
“I’m just charging,” Red said.
She looked up at it. “What?”
“Charging,” said the rider, raising their palms in the air.
Charge? Er, why does it seem like it’s exhausting for her …
It even softens her knees …
Geeez, calm down, Euna!
