Chapter 112
Tuesday 8th March
Star POV
We arranged for dinner to be served outside tonight, so that every pack member could be present. Dinner consisted of fish, fish and more fish. I guess that 18 years without something will give you a craving. It was delicious though.
Once everyone had finished, I asked our warriors to clear away the dishes, so that all pack members could stay for the meeting. I stood and called for attention.
“Good evening Spirit Moon, I have managed to speak to a small number of you, but for those I have not managed to get to, My name is Luna Star Ravenwood, of the Ravens Perch pack in England. I am the only child of Thalia Karagiannis, and Alpha Liam Danvers.”
A cheer went up around the pack, I smiled and raised my hand for them to settle down.
“My mates and I are so happy to see you all, we are so proud of how you have stayed strong and made this pack thrive under extremely tough circumstances.”
I clapped my hands for them and within seconds all of our friends and family joined me, applauding these amazing people.
“Now, as I am sure you realise, my mates and I lead a pack in England, and we can’t be in two places at once. With this in mind, we have appointed two of our Beta’s to lead you on a day-to-day basis. I would like to introduce Beta Aiden and Beta Jessica. They and their daughter, Starlight, will be making the germinant move her in a few days. They will be bringing a team with them, but if you have a ranked position now, then please feel free to speak to them when they return.”This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.
“Aiden is a fierce warrior, and comes from a very strong Alpha bloodline. Jessica is an elemental ice wolf, and a strong warrior in her own right, their first priority will always be the well being of the pack.”
The crowd all cheers and there are shouts of welcome.
“I would also like to welcome Gwydion and Cassandra of the Ivybridge coven to our pack. They have both found their mates here and have decided to stay here.”
There is another load cheer.
“Tomorrow we must return home. We have a lot of plans to make, but we will be returning on the 13th, and we will hold a ceremony to transfer the pack into Aiden and Jessica’s care. In the meantime, Alpha Hellios will be staying here, and will help you with anything you need.”
“We understand that you have been stuck within this pack for a long time, and for the next few days, I ask that you stay close to home. I am sure you will all be welcome to visit The Howling moon, but the world has changed over the years, and we want to prepare you for those changes. I hope in the near future you will all come to visit us in England. The Ravens Perch is your home as well.”
“I won’t take any more of your time. Hellios has kindly provided refreshments for us, so we would love for you to join us to celebrate Spirit Moon finally being free. Please come and speak to us, we can’t wait to get to know you all.”
With that, servers appear carrying trays of Ouzo. and freshly squeezed juice. I feel an arm go around me, Ace whispers in my ear, “well done Tink, you did amazing.”
We spend the rest of the night talking and getting to know the pack members. Jessica and Aiden seem to be a hit, people have queued to speak to them.
Naomi touched my shoulder, I turned to see her an Hellios standing behind me.
“I can’t believe you have managed to organize everything so quickly, I am very impressed.” I grinned at her, “with everything we have gone through in the last few months, we have leant to think on our feet. In the two months since my birthday, I have mated to my triplets, found out that my parents weren’t my parents, found a whole family in Scotland, discovered that I am a powerful elemental, been kidnapped, got married, been to war, got pregnant, been to war again, and found my mothers lost pack. I am hoping for a little quiet time, before the twins come, but I don’t hold out much hope.”
Hellios’s booming laughter rang across the courtyard, making a few people jump. “you would be bored, young Star, but I am sure those three keep you on your toes.” I followed his gaze to my mates, who were having a drinking contest. “You have no idea.”
The party is still going at 3am, but I am literally on my last legs, I am being carried around by Lex, Ash has passed out, f*****g lightweight, Ace is discussing something boring with dad and Leander.
Something catches my eye and I smile as I watch Helios and Naomi locked in a passionate embrace in a dark corner. I whispered to Lex, “looks like they have found a second chance at happiness.” Hellios’s mate died five years ago in a boating accident. Leander had said that he didn’t think he would pull through, but he looked so happy now.
I yawn and Lex tucks me into his shoulder, “I think its time to grab the other two and tuck you into bed, baby,” he links Ace to carry Ash and we say goodnight to everyone, Ash over Ace’s shoulder.
