Chapter 33 What’s My Rank?
Chapter 33 What’s My Rank?
Enrique approached her and slightly leaned over. His voice was low and hoarse, "Lie down."
Christy's eyes flashed. She looked at him alertly, "Lie down... Why?"
Seeing that she was alert, Enrique narrowed his eyes and said, "Sleep."
Christy looked at the bed and then at him, "I want to sleep alone."
"Have I said that I want to sleep with you?" Enrique said and straightened up.
Knowing that she was mistaken, Christy was embarrassed. She cleared her throat, "Well, thank you for
taking me in again tonight. Good night."
Enrique narrowed his eyes, "You said good night to me?"
Christy looked up in confusion, "What's wrong?"
Enrique wore a faint smile, "Good night means I love you."
"..." Christy's mouth twisted and she directly reached out and covered her mouth. Well, she had said
something wrong again.
"Good night." After saying that, Enrique strode out to the bedroom.
As he reached out to pull open the bedroom door, Christy couldn't help but ask, "May I know your
name?"
Until now, she still didn't know his name.
Because she did not know the name of that man who saved her eight years ago. So, she was deceived
by Osborne and identified the wrong person to pay a debt of gratitude.
She couldn't repeat this mistake again.
He had helped her more than once. At least, she should know his name.
As for the man who saved her eight years ago, her memory of him now was only a mask.
Enrique turned to look at her in deep eyes, "What? Do you want to remember me forever?"
Then without waiting for her answer, he walked back. He stared at Christy firmly, "My name is Enrique
Terrell."
"May I know how to write it?" she didn't know the exact words of his name.
Seeing that she asked so seriously, Enrique smiled. He took her slender hand gently and wrote the two
words on her hand.
He withdrew his hand and asked her, "Do you remember that?"
"I remember it clearly. Go to sleep now and good..." Thinking of what he just said, Christy bit back the
words she would like to have said, "Good dream."
She suddenly changed her words. Enrique narrowed his eyes and asked in a deep voice, "What’s my
rank?"
Christy was confused, "What?"
Enrique stared at her, "How many men have you said good night to?"
Christy was surprised and glance at him. Then, she held out two fingers.
"Am I the second?" Seeing her fingertips, Enrique narrowed his charming eyes tightly, "Who was the
first?"
Christy met his sharp gaze and frowned, "The first one is my father. What's wrong?"
Her answer seemed to satisfy Enrique. His eyes softened a bit, "Very good. I don't want a third one."
With that, he turned around and strode out of the master bedroom.
Christy stared at the bedroom blankly for a while, and finally understood why Osborne, the scum, did
not allow her to say good night to him. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
But now, she was glad that she hadn't said good night to Osborne.
...
The next day, Christy was awakened by the ringing of her phone.
The person who called her was her classmate and best friend, Juana Reid.
Christy was still sleepy. She took her phone and asked in a daze, "What's wrong, Juana?"
"There's a very important thing today. Come to school now! What time is it? Why are you still sleeping?
A famous director will personally come to our school to cast today. Christy, here's your chance."
