Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1019

Andre stepped out and knocked on his nephew's bedroom door.

Leo, with his hair all messy, got up holding a sleepy little munchkin and opened the door. "Uncle, here you go."

After handing the little bundle over, Leo shut the door and flopped back onto the bed, wrapping his arms around Anya, who was still dozing. He gazed at her lovingly, gave her a soft kiss on the temple, and snuggled back down with her. Andre headed back, gently placing his son next to his wife, watching them both sleep peacefully.

By around 9 a.m., Andre made sure to wake up his young wife. He was firm about sticking to a regular schedule for the family, though his wife could afford to break the routine now and then.

Yawning, Mia went to freshen up.

When she came out, breakfast was already laid out on the table. "After being out and about for so many days, this is the first time we're having the hotel breakfast."

Mia, cradling her sleepy son, settled on the couch. "Hey, wake up, time to eat. If you keep sleeping, you won't have anyone to keep you company tonight."

Andre, with a playful grin, grabbed his son's tiny feet, ready to tickle them.

Mia opened a fresh and juicy bacon and egg sandwich, wafting it under her son's nose to entice him. "Smells so good, doesn't it?"

Henry scrunched up his face, eyes still closed, but eventually gave in. As soon as his mouth opened a bit, Mia fed him, coaxing him awake despite his reluctance.

Henry's little grumbles lasted for about five minutes.

Then, he settled on his mom's lap, watching her tear off bits of the sandwich for him, while his dad sat nearby, spooning oatmeal into his mouth.

Mia's hair fell forward, the ends brushing her chest where a noticeable love bite stood out in the bright sunlight. After a few bites, Henry's curiosity got the better of him, and he reached out to poke at the red mark on his mom's chest. The "culprit" gently pushed Henry's hand away and offered him another spoonful of oatmeal.

As Mia fed her son, she snuck in a few bites for herself. "Your brother was already annoyed with you for hogging Anya, and staying up with him last night didn't help. He's probably even less fond of you now." Henry babbled on, chatting with his mom.

After breakfast, they took Henry to the bathroom to freshen up.

Everyone else had finished eating by the time Leo and Anya woke up.

Anya sat up in bed, her first thought on finding Henry. Not seeing him, she shook her boyfriend. "Chad, the baby's gone."

"If he's gone, he's gone," Leo mumbled, turning over to go back to sleep.

Meanwhile, Henry was already busy knocking on doors in the hallway.

He went next door to wake his aunt, then laid by his brother's door, knocking insistently.

Back in his parents' room, he tried to climb onto the bed, shoes and all.

That afternoon, the weather was just right.

The group headed out to the beach.

With his dad by his side, Henry felt brave, charging straight towards the ocean. He stumbled, flinging sand with his little arms, but quickly got back up, running barefoot towards the waves.

Andre held his tiny hand at the shore, as Henry tugged him towards the sea.

Mia had bought him a swim ring, but in his dad's arms, he had no use for it.

Having men around certainly had its perks: looking after the kids, carrying heavy stuff, driving, running errands... all the man's work. What did the women do? Enjoy themselves.

And, of course, critique the men's photography skills.

"Did you two...make up?" Molly asked, noticing the love bite Mia couldn't hide.

Mia shook her head, covering her chest with a smile. "Had to keep a secret last night, paid a little price for it."

"Did Andre get lucky?"

Mia chuckled, "He got a bit of an advantage."novelbin

"What secret was worth giving up

that advantage?" Molly asked,

lounging in the sun, sipping onl

tea that seemed to magically refill itself, completely at ease.
