Chapter 1 You Set Me Up
Chapter 1 You Set Me Up
It was a late night in C City when an astonishing drama was put up in a VIP suite at S Hotel.
Emily Morris squinted her amorous eyes and put her arms around Sebastian Clark’s neck. She asked
slyly, “Mr. Clark, what makes you want to marry my sister?”
“Have a guess,” Sebastian answered in great interest with his husky, deep voice. Hearing this, a playful
smile crossed Emily’s lips. She pulled his neck near to her mouth and whispered, “Was she good in
bed?” As soon as these words fell, she was then well educated by Sebastian in bed…
Seeing that she frowned in pain but did not complain a word, Sebastian teased her, “What are you
doing now?” “Mr. Clark, I just want to let you know that I am more tactful in bed than my sister,” Emily
answered in full glamour.
Sebastian was unmoved and couldn't help frowning and mocking, “Gosh, you are shameless!” “As if
your eyes can be caught by anything else?” Emily’s eyes flashed a touch of ridicule. She wanted to kick
this god damn man off the bed, but she had to endure it for her own sake.
…
After a whole night of lovemaking, Emily got up in the morning to dress up. The bright red lipstick and
her deep V-neck dress added all glamour in the world to her. As Sebastian casually leaned on the bed
for a smoke, Emily put up a meaningful smile, “Not bad, Mr. Clark. No wonder my sister is so into you.”
Sebastian got up and walked to her, “You are fearless as you dare to covet the fiancé of your sister.” As
he spoke, he unceremoniously pinched his hand on her waist.
“Likewise, Mr. Clark. Aren’t you the one who is going to marry my sister? Though you sure did not think
so last night!” Emily lifted her lips to outline a touch of sarcasm and counterattacked calmly. “However,
in the future, you will have to take good care of my sister. My sister is not healthy since she was a child.
She will be too vulnerable to handle you.”
Emily endured the soreness on her body and got up from the dressing table. As soon as she elegantly
finished her makeup routine, the door was banged on from the outside. Sebastian leaned on the bed
for a smoke, "You set your stepmother up to humiliate her, but did you ever think about how she will
seek revenge? Why don’t you beg me for help to settle them?”
Sebastian certainly had the power to make this offer. Still, Emily was up to something more than that.
Emily is smart enough to know that there must be a crowd of police and journalists outside the door. As
long as Sebastian didn’t kick her out, everything would be alright, and her reputation would not be
damaged.
But she had come so far to sleep with her brother-in-law to insult her stepmother and sister. Emily
raised her eyebrows and said, “I would not bother Mr. Clark this time.” Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
The people outside the door seemed to lose their patience. They kept banging on the door and
shouting, "Police! Open the door!"
“Mr. Clark, you’d better avoid showing your face if you don’t want it on the entertainment front page."
Emily was going to open the door after she made sure she was properly dressed. As Emily mentioned
the newspaper, Sebastian suddenly stretched out his hand and pulled Emily back, "You set me up?!"
The door was suddenly pushed open with a loud “bang”, and a crowd of people had broken into the
room.
Dorothy Morris and her daughter, Louisa Morris, were behind the police when they entered the door. As
soon as Louisa saw Sebastian was grabbing Emily’s wrist, she gritted her teeth and rushed over to slap
Emily on her cheek, “Emily, you shameless bitch—”
Emily didn’t show weakness in front of everyone and returned the slap without any hesitation. They
went head to head with each other. Louisa’s eyes were full of tears. She was sobbing and choking,
looking very pitiful.
The leading police officer frowned to announce, “Emily Morris, we are told that you have poisoned your
father, Mr. Wilfred Morris. Please come with us.” In the hotel room, people looked at each other in
astonishment—how can an adulterous drama suddenly turn into a criminal case?
Emily couldn’t believe herself, and she said, “What did you just say?”
