Otherwise, I would have died in the kitchen.”

In the kitchen, Wanda merely glanced at Kate and scoffed coldly without offering any explanation. Moreover, she calmly began cleaning up the bowl she had previously shattered.

Kate is adept at playing the frail damsel, but I’m not the least bit intimidated. I don’t believe that Alex will actually kill me.

When Kate discovered her identity just now, Wanda might have been nervous. But now, Wanda had already figured things out.

Kate’s face turned red with anger as she hurriedly explained, “Alex, it’s not like what she described. How could I possibly hurt myself? The injuries on my body were all caused by her, she even wanted to kill me.”

Wanda came up to Kate and patted the latter on the shoulder before saying, “If I really wanted to kill you, do you think you could escape?”
