Chapter 1179 Unsatisfactory Retribution

“A-Alex, the man-eating bear is truly running toward us. What should we do?”

Elijah hid behind Alex in fear. The creature coming toward them was enormous. If it were to strike them with one of its paws, their bones would shatter into pieces.

Jordan sneered when he saw that from his position on the tree. These two losers showed up just in time to help me out of this crisis.

He took advantage of the moment the man-eating bear moved to deal with the other two to climb down from the tree. Rather than staying where he was and awaiting death, he might as well run as far as he could.

The others lacked the same courage as him, fearing that they would be targeted by the bears as soon as they came down. So, they obediently stayed up in the trees.

Alex stared at Jordan’s eyes, which were narrowed and exuded a menacing aura. This person is overly selfish. He won’t hesitate to let others die in his place just so he can live.

Jordan backed away helplessly. He reflexively looked toward Alex and Elijah and saw Alex sending the larger man-eating bear flying with a single palm strike. The bear landed on the ground, groaning twice before falling silent.

This scene completely changed his worldview. It was a man-eating bear, after all! The person previously regarded as a loser by them easily defeated a fearsome man-eating bear. It was simply unheard of.

It was only then that Jordan suddenly believed what Elijah had said earlier. The reason they came back was not to apologize to the group, but to genuinely help them drive those two man-eating bears away.
