Sean wanted to fight Alex, for he didn’t believe this young man could defeat him without resorting to underhanded tactics.

Confused, Sean asked, “Dad, what are you doing? I’ll teach this brat a good lesson today!”

He had barely finished speaking when a tight slap landed on his cheek.

Sean covered his face and stared at his father in disbelief. “Dad, I just wanted to stand up for our sect. Are we supposed to just stand by and do nothing after everything he has done to us?”

“Damn it! Do you really think you can defeat him with that strength of yours? He defeated me with his own merits, not through any underhanded tactics. I will disown you if you continue to ignore my advice!” Young said angrily.

Sean and the hundreds of disciples of the Leight Sect might have been dead by now if Young had not stopped him.

Alex was so powerful that no one from the Leight Sect could stand up against him. Perhaps the great elder from the Simpson family was the only one who could take Alex down now.

“Remember the promise you made to me. Tell those people from the secret forces that I’m giving them one month to return all the businesses they’ve taken over. They are allowed to stay in the real world only if they behave from now on. If you don’t follow these rules, I will hunt you down. One month from now, I will hold a fighting arena at Lumenopolis. Everyone from the secret forces is more than welcome to challenge me there!” Alex said, his tone filled with contempt.

Alex realized during his battle with Young that he could quickly power up by fighting against powerful individuals under dangerous circumstances.

Hence, this time around, he decided to challenge the entire secret forces for the sake of the people in the real world and to enhance his strength.

Since Alex wasn’t sure if the people of Doomsday Prison would send individuals that were way stronger than he was to capture him after his escape, he wanted to improve his capabilities so that he could defend himself when that happens.

Having dealt with the Leight Sect. Alex walked over to Zack and patted his shoulder. “You said you’d follow me. Let’s go!”
