“So, Cory paid you two hundred thousand to handle Zack and me, right? In that case, I’ll offer you five hundred thousand.”

Upon hearing this number, Daxton made a pause gesture to his men, asking them to wait for a moment.

Daxton sneered and said indifferently, “He offered me five hundred thousand. If you can come up with more money than him, I’ll help you! I only care about money. I’ll work for whoever pays more!”

Daxton’s eyes lit up, and he immediately recited his bank account number.

Without any hesitation, Alex sent a message to Jack, asking him to transfer two hundred and fifty thousand to that account number.

Cory could not help but believe Alex after seeing the serious look on his face.

Have I really offended someone capable? But how could Zack, that good-for-nothing, possibly know any rich friends? If that guy really transferred two hundred and fifty thousand to Mr. Daxton, I would be finished.

“Mr. Daxton, you must not believe him. He’s a liar!” Cory tried to convince him desperately, but Daxton remained unmoved. Please help me handle those two people.”

Just as Cory was speaking, Daxton received a message. It was a notification that two hundred and fifty thousand had been transferred to his account.

With a swift kick, Daxton struck Cory right in the stomach, knocking him to the ground. He shouted, “Who the hell do you think you are? Guys, let’s get him! And don’t forget to take down that woman too!”
