Queen Lydia stood distance away from the whole scene crying her eyes out.

If this would happen, her uneasiness was something, she should have stopped him from fighting. She kept blaming herself, she should have protected her son.

“Someone should get the fucking physician”She heard Tessa’s loud voice, mixed with pain, regrets, everything.

She kept blaming herself for the problem on ground, she blamed herself for putting poor Nathaniel into the whole mess.

“No one can replace your love in my heart Nathaniel, I love you, I will always love you, forever and ever”Tessa cried, shaking visibly because of the heavy downpour.

The hidden back up soldiers and guards rushed out, trying to reach their highness. At first I lost my mind. All I wanted to see was for Nathaniel to stand up on his feet. Some guards rushed him to the physician quarters. He looked pale, his deep pink lips were fading away, it looked white all of the sudden.

“Tessa, Tessa my dear. Come on, you need to get up. “Queen Lydia said, trying to get her up on her feet.

“Mother, they,,, they,,, they,, shot him a poisonous arrow”She shuttered, holding queen Lydia’s hands.

“Don’t worry, the physician will remove everything.”Queen Lydia assured her despite being in pain.

“Mother, I should be by his side. He needs me”Tessa uttered, storming on her feet.

“Aren’t you feeling any pain Tessa?”Queen Lydia asked.

“I am a mother, but I have to see Nathaniel. I need to stand by him,”Tessa uttered, wiping off her tears.

Queen Lydia stood outside with her head down. Tessa couldn’t sit down for a second. She kept moving to and fro.

“Where were you all, I admit Nathaniel made you all the backup soldiers. Didn’t you hear his scream under the rain, you should have come out and backed him up.” Tessa yelled, roughing her hair.

“We wanted to, but the commander said we should wait a little longer.”A young soldier answered.

“Who is the commander?”Tessa yelled.

Queen Lydia sobs were getting louder than before. Tessa turned and burst into fresh tears.

“It’s my fault, I shouldn’t have gone there, I shouldn’t have,, have,, distract him. Maybe he would have won. It’s all my fault, I murdered him. “Tessa cried, trying to catch her breath.

“My princess”A maid rushed to catch her.

“Catch your breath princess Tessa” Queen Lydia uttered, tucking her hair behind her ear.

“Tessa, Tessa. Calm down and take a deep breath”Queen Lydia, uttered. She inhales and exhales repeatedly.

“Am fine now,”Tessa uttered.

“You don’t look fine”Queen Lydia cried.

The door opened, the physician and his assistant came out.

“How is my son?”Queen Lydia asked.

“Is King Nathaniel okay?”Tessa asked, as tears streamed down her cheeks.

“We lost him, your highness.” Queen Lydia fell to her knees. Tessa ran to hold his clothes in anger

“Don’t you dare say such a thing”Princess Tessa screamed.

“We tried our best my princess, it’s real. But he said something before he died”

“What did he say?”Tessa cried, holding her head.

“He said, you should promise him that you must fall in love again.”

“How did he expect me to do that?”Tessa yelled, running inside the Physician hospitality room.

“He tattooed my name on his chest,”Tessa thought, crying profusely.

“You need to get Tessa up, they will have to move his corpse”Queen Lydia uttered, hiding her pain.

“Why so sudden”

“That’s our customs and tradition here, you only have until morning.”Queen Lydia shuttered, fighting back her tears.

“Nathaniel, Please wake up. I can’t live without you, you gave me hope when there wasn’t, you made me smile again. You are the reason why I’m alive, why did you leave so suddenly.”Tessa cried.

“They intentionally killed Nathaniel, but who could have done this”Tessa thought.

“Yes, mother.”

“Nathaniel is a gentle king, he doesn’t like trouble or cause trouble”Queen Lydia uttered.

“Could be this, from the person threatening father”Tessa thought.

“You will have to go back to CHILL HILLS When it’s morning.”Queen Lydia uttered.

“I can’t leave you alone here mother”Tessa pleaded.

“Don’t worry, I am going to be fine, inform your family about everything.

“Okay mother,”Tessa replied weakly.

Tessa wasn’t ready to let them burn down Nathaniel’s body in order to have his ashes. No one couldn’t believe a peaceful King is gone, just like that. Queen Lydia did all the preparation, but Tessa was the one that lit his body. After gathering his ashes, it was finally dropped at the river in a firm container.

Everyone wished Tessa a goodbye. Even though she wasn’t ready to leave and cried in front of her family like a coward. Her journey to her kingdom wasn’t a happy one, Nathaniel’s last words kept ringing in her ears.

“Promise,,, me,,, you ,,, will ,,, take care of my mother,,,, and my Kingdom. Remember ,,, I,,, I ,,, loved,,, you,,, so much. Tess my baby, if you later get pregnant in the future probably my baby Damian or Penelope. Promise me you will fulfill my wish” How I wish I can just get pregnant for him and fulfill his last wish.

Tessa’s two days journey was over, she couldn’t hide her tears when she saw how her families were waiting for her outside the castle.

“Tessa,”Queen Lola cried.

She couldn’t break down in tears in front of everyone, in order to avoid that. She ran away, running towards the princess Chambers.

“Her Majesty,”Fiona cried, running after her.
