She’s Married, Sir (Scarlett and Sebastian)

Chapter 38

Chapter 38

She had calculated that James would not release her once he had secured the contract.

However, that was on the condition that he had taken the sleeping pills!

The man in the bathroom was blamed for all of this.

Had he not pretended to be James and not disturbed her initially, she would not have been so nervous

that her hands trembled, and James would have noticed.

What should she do in this situation? Was James really intending to sleep with her?

Just as she was anxiously sweating, the sound of the phone vibrating interrupted James’ hand, which

had been randomly touching.

“Mr. Forrest, your phone is here. Answer it right away.”

Scarlett seized the chance to hastily shove James away and rise from him.

James felt that escaping tonight was not an option, so he refrained from arguing with her.

He swiftly drew out his phone and, upon seeing the number on the screen, answered it promptly.

Scarlett, upon hearing him pick up the phone, noticed his tone had become instantly respectful, as if he

were nodding and bowing.

Thus, she surmised that the caller was a powerful figure whom even James could not risk offending.

She pondered who it could be.

She was too lazy to care who the call was; her focus was on how to solve the current tricky problem.

“Is there an issue? Why didn’t I spot it?” James grabbed the phone and examined the agreement.

Scarlett couldn’t make out the other person’s voice. All she heard was James asking, “Now?”

After a pause, he said, “Okay, I’ll go right away.”

Upon hearing that he was leaving, Scarlett’s anxiety intensified. If she could not resolve the situation

with James tonight, the bidding for tomorrow would commence and she would be doomed!

She tried to stop James, but he quickly snatched the contract and pulled her close, planting a kiss on

her cheek.

“Darling, I have an urgent matter to attend to. Please wait here for me.” This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.

Scarlett, no longer trying to stop him, knowing he would return.

James would have come back if he hadn’t slept with her, so she had nothing to lose by waiting.

Scarlett sighed in relief as soon as James departed.

Upon hearing the sound emanating from the bathroom, her body, which had been relaxed, tensed up

once more.

There was still one more thing left to be resolved!

Scarlett hastened her steps and hurried over.

As she put her hand on the bathroom door, it suddenly opened from within and a slender hand grabbed

her, pulling her in.

The lights in the bathroom were switched off, and only the faint yellow light from the door illuminated

the man’s collarbone.

She wanted to take a closer look, but the man, turning suddenly, pressed her against the wall.

He hugged her from behind and then secured her hands with a white plastic bandage.

Her eyes instantly fell upon the expensive tie..

He tied her up again-why?

Before Scarlett could utter a word, the man abruptly seized her chin.

She felt a chill on her lips, then the man kissed her red ones.

Scarlett, upon being kissed, caressed his skin.

She could sense that he had removed his mask, yet it was a shame that her vision was obscured and

she could not make out the man’s features clearly.

She was pressed against the wall, her soft body almost burning from the heat of the man’s body.

His kiss was ravenous, like a hungry wolf, wanting to devour her in one gulp.

“Oh

She was unable to move and could only utter a faint moan.

He was unable to resist the allure of her soft voice, and his dender hand quickly removed her clothing

He turned her around, then pressed her against the wall and kissed her again.

Scarlett desperately struggled, yet the man still managed to grab her wrist with one hand and lift her up

above her head

The man eagerly touched her

He seemed to have gone a long time without touching a woman, and his anxiety and ferocity were

especially intense.

He seemed intent on ruthlessly killing her before he could be satisßed.
