A week had passed since Andrea’s dismiss and Isabelle decided to resume work.

She entered the movie set, getting lots of waves from people, some she knew and some she didn’t, a few sympathized with her.

“So what has been going on in the industry?” She asked and Lettice brought out her iPad, reading some news.

“Lots of things like you fighting on your ex fiancé’s burial day, the unknown gunmen who attacked, I’m still in shock about how you survived. Lilian has made a comeback into the industry and I just say she isn’t leaving an stone unturned, she got three movie roles this week and the movie premier would happen this week, I’m just hoping we sell out everything because lots of people are anticipating our downfall” Lettice voiced and Isabelle let out a deep breath.

“So much hate in this Industry, Brianna is just a rising actress, it’s almost impossible to sell out everything as Aurora’s and Lilies have decided not to watch the movie… been a long I had a conversation with Aurora, I’ll like to meet her today” Isabelle confessed.

“Just watch your back closely, wherever you are there’s danger lurking around. Please be very careful” Lettice advised and Isabelle hugged her.

“Everyone is working extra hard this week, we would be wrapping things up and you’re behind so you might be working the hardest..” Lettice trailed and ran off.

FLASHBACK

“Drop that gun now!” Liam thundered, staring at Ann viciously, she stared at him fearlessly, still clenching the gun tightly.

“Finally, it’s an honor to meet Mario’s pet.. You’re the little thing who has been running errands for him. Pity, you’re doing a terrible job” Ann replied, walking around him.

“What’s making you brave and fearless? Why do you think you can be the hero? Roberto has to die for Mario to become president.. Why are you being adamant? You can work with Mario and in turn be the Vice President, the first Vice President in history. Your name would be heard all over and you would be honored greatly. But why?” Liam demanded, pointing the gun at her and she laughed sarcastically.

“There’s a much better position.. Mario tried to end Roberto the first time but he failed woefully and you think he’s gonna succeed now? The country is lacking a First Lady and I would be the First Lady. Ahh yes! I can always be the hero because I know what’s going on. Don’t you think it’s kinda funny, Roberto had escaped and I’m all alone here with a gun? Can’t you sense some kind of preparation? No matter the strategy Mario tries to use I’ll always ruin it. We had a plan 8 years ago, he had intentions of betraying me but I ruined everything. For 8 careful years I planned this whole thing.. Mario would face a death that’s worse than that of his dead son and Ahh it wasn’t the poison that killed Andrea, it was my minion who killed him..” She replied with a smirk and Liam glared at her, scowling and bearing his teeth.

He was about to shoot her when a bullet pierced his knee. He fell, holding his knee and Ann wore a hoodie, covering her face with a mask.

“So long comrade, I’ll be back for you” She saluted and ran off, leaving Liam who was groaning in pain.

“Aurora what’s wrong with us? Why have we changed? We were best of friends before, we couldn’t do without each other for a day but now we’re distant for weeks, why?” Isabelle demanded, holding Aurora’s hand, that they had met at a restaurant.

“A lot is wrong. You were supposed to be my best friend yet you choose that commoner over me, you’ve been acting very distant and strangely ever since you met Lettice and Brianna. I wish we could go back to the old us, when was the last time we hung out with Alessio? When was the last time we went to clubs and got drunk to stupor?” Aurora replied and Isabelle sighed.

“Aloe has been going on lately and I can’t do anything to tarnish my family’s image, I can’t even walk around without fear of being attacked..”

“Since when did you start caring about your family, the old Isabelle was carefree and better, it’s your fault we fought with Elena” Aurora accused.

“I think it’s best if we called Elena and settled all of these, I miss the old us” Isabelle replied, bringing out her phone.

She put a call through to Elena who answered rudely, after pleading with her to meet them, she hung up.

20 minutes later, Elena walked inside, scamming the whole place for them, her frown deepened when she sighted them.

She walked over to their seat and Aurora hugged her tightly, she had a look of surprise on her face.

“I’ve missed you a lot” Isabelle confessed, hugging her and she hugged them back, still confused.

“Stop acting all serious, we all miss you” Aurora explained and they all burst into laughter.

Alessandro, who had been standing at one side, glanced at them.

“Hypocrites” He muttered, tearing his gaze away from them.

They left the restaurant, heading for a strip club.

Their table was filled with drinks and they all drank to their heart content, ordering more drinks.

Alessandro shook his head, watching them drink and act insane.

Aurora ordered for a male stripper and began dancing, rocking her body on him.

Elena who had taken less drinks brought out her phone, laughing and making videos of Isabelle who was twerking.

Isabelle staggered towards Alessandro who had a frown on his face, she hugged him, grabbing his face, she placed a hungry kiss on his lips.

Elena, who looked disgusted, took her phone and kept videoing them.

Isabelle kissed Alessandro for a long time, forcefully taking control.

“I’ll make sure I talk to Lettice, I also miss Alessio, I’ll get him into the movie industry and make him the best!” Isabelle replied, moving away from Alessandro who held her.

“Excuse me, I wanna use the restroom” Elena excused herself, carrying her phone.

She entered and went to stand at one side, making a call.

“Yea, I’ll send you some juicy pictures and videos now, it’ll ruin her career completely… This is even better, she’s having an affair with her guard and it’ll ruin even her father’s reputation. If I send this to the news, I’ll be making lots of money… I want to trend again and this time for a better reason…” Elena whispered with satisfaction and Alessandro barged inside.

He grabbed her phone angrily, checked her videos as she began protesting and trying to collect it.

She struggled restlessly to collect the phone, dismay written on her face.

He deleted all the videos and pictures of Isabelle that night.

She shouted at him, trying to get her phone back and he smashed her phone on the ground angrily, making her gasp with shock, she knelt beside her phone, trying to pick up the pieces.

“How dare you! Must you always be her hero in shining armor? Can’t you mind your business?!. What’s so intriguing about her?” She yelled, hitting him angrily and he stood there, watching her closely.

Aurora and Isabelle entered inside, looking around with confusion and Aurora gasped when she saw the broken phone.

“What’s going on? Am I hallucinating or Elena’s phone is on the floor, broken?” Isabelle demanded, staggering towards the phone.

“He smashed my phone on the floor! I did nothing wrong, I was only receiving a call. I want a new phone” Elena replied and Alessandro chuckled.

“Why did you smash her phone? You’re becoming too arrogant huh?” Isabelle demanded, pointing at his blurry figure.

“She recorded videos of us kissing and Aurora dancing, she was making a call to the person who would leak the video to the press” Alessandro confessed and Elena shook her head.

“No! I would never do that! We were all having fun! I would have showed you my phone but it’s ruined” Elena defended and Isabelle just looked at them blankly.

“You’re such a deceitful friend! We trusted you, you were the one who’s at fault yet we’re trying to make peace with you and all you could do is try to destroy our careers” Aurora retorted, pulling Elena’s hair angrily and Elena giggled.

“You’re acting like you’re innocent, you think I don’t know that you’re also trying to bring Isabelle down? You think all what you do is in secret and I don’t know how you’re trying hard to get back at Isabelle for supporting Brianna?” Elena retorted.

“I’m done! I’m tired of y’all, see you later” Isabelle replied, walking out with Alessandro who scowled at both girls.

“What’s wrong?” Alessandro asked, holding her as they walked towards the park.

“Nothing, I just want to be with you… when was the last time you kissed your girlfriend? For days I’ve been lonely but you’ve been with your strippers and having fun…” She complained bitterly and he smiled, making her angry.

“You should know that you’re the only woman I’ve thought of for the last two months, I feel down whenever you’re not by my side and working for you has been the best experience of my life” He confessed, grabbing her face.

He placed a gentle kiss on her lips, deepening it slowly as she moaned and melted against him, he felt heat rush through his veins and all he wanted to do was have her.

“Let’s go to my house..”

“No, I want you to fuck me in the car, I’ll be your personal slut for today” She replied, kissing his earlobes and he groaned, grabbing her ass as they walked to the car.
