Jessica turned to leave after adding herfinal sentence.Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.
Trevor stood in the same spot with one foot stomping on something on the ground. He was so infuriated that he violently punched the table beside him.
"Return to the hotel together? Affect my reputation? This woman truly dares to say just about anything!" he thought. "I should've asked her if I, the chairman, forced myself on the secretary, would that affect my reputation?" When Jessica returned to her room, her mind was a mess.
That woman's voice kept replaying in her head incessantly.
"Don't think about her! Don't think about her!" she reminded herself mentally.
Bang!
All of a sudden, the door was pushed open, and she raised her eyes to see the man before her, startled.
"Mr. Gulliford, although you have the backup keycard for the secretary's room, it's very rude of you to barge in without warning," she said in discontent upon returning to her senses.
"How could he simply barge in this way? What if I was changing my clothes? Wouldn't he have seen all of me?" she grumbled inwardly.
"Come and dine with me," said Trevor in a deep voice indifferently. His long, slender fingers were still holding the door's handle.
"Huh?" She was slightly baffled. "I've already said I won't be going. Did you forget?"
"You have to come with me."
The man walked in without a care and snatched the book in her hands, throwing it onto the couch.
"This is a work matter."
"Work matters?" Jessica was enraged by this series of actions. "Is accompanying a beautiful woman to dine considered work matter too? Mr. Gulliford, this is your private matter, no?" "Jessica Lockett!" He frowned, caging her in on the couch involuntarily once again. "You know I never have a good temper. Don't piss me off."
"You... Get up first."
She felt a little awkward seeing the fury in his gaze.
What's wrong with this man today? Why does he keep doingthis out of the blue? He's a gentleman for crying out loud. Is this still Trevor Gulliford who has been extremely outstanding since young? She wondered.
"I... didn't buy that to use with her," he explained impatiently in a different tone than usual.
All his patience this life must've been used on this woman.
"So?"
Jessica was even more awkward now. She had no interest in what he bought that thing for.
"It's to be used with you."
He took a deep breath, lowering his gaze.
"Must I spell it out so clearly?" he mused.
"Mr. Gulliford, please don't make such jokes. It's childish."
A hint of anger flashed in her eyes as she pondered why this man was always being so frivolous.
"Childish? Yeah, it is." He gritted his teeth, his eyes filling with seriousness. "I'll tell you something else even more childish. Do you know what was in that foreign man's drink?"
"What?" Jessica's eyes glinted when she abruptly thought of something.
"Is he saying that the foreign man's drink was doped? Then, if he drank it..." she thought.
"You... Are you okay?" she asked tentatively.
"What do you think?" He raised a brow. Seeing that her tone had

"Then, you should hurry and look for a beauty to dine with you so that you can deal with it." Trevor was immediately incensed that she was pushing him to other women without hesitation.
The smile that just crept up on his face vanished in a flash.
"I was drinking on your behalf,

Jessica Lockett. Is this how you repay me? Do you know how strong the effect of the drug is? My tolerance is great. Had you drunk it, you likely would've been clinging to me now," he said furiously.
This darn woman. Isn't she being too cruel? She's pushing me to someone else without a word? He cursed to himself.
