As soon as Vivien spoke, Dupont and the other elite vampires surrounded Nathan and his men.

Vivien laughed. "Hah! I'm here for the little girl. Getting rid of you is a bonus. Besides, you don't seem to understand the situation. Right now, both of their lives are in my hands. If you do not wish for them to die, get on your knees and beg me. Or else, I could give you a painless death."

"You? Making me kneel?" Nathan said coldly. "Even the Patriarch himself is not worthy of making me kneel, let alone you."
