Rekindling Her Affection (Sabrina and Nelson)

Chapter 34

Sabrina subconsciously wanted to run away.

Nelson grabbed her and pinned her down against a coffee table. She couldn't help but tremble as tears welled up in her eyes.

She didn't understand why Nelson wanted to humiliate her.

Nelson placed the phone face down on the coffee table.

Sabrina didn't want to owe him anything. She had tried her best, but she couldn't do it.

Sabrina felt her nose prickle as tears welled up in her eyes. Yet, she remained silent as she bit her lips.

He briefly paused. However, his hesitation disappeared when he found her alluring as she lay on the coffee table, her hair messily sprawled across it.

Nelson whispered in her ear, "Are you doing this willingly? How is this any different from cheating?"

He moved away from her, picked the bathrobe up off the floor, and put it on. He turned to leave.

Sabrina shut her eyes, thinking about how he looked like a prostitute's client. With nowhere to hide, she hugged herself as she sat on the floor.

She couldn't help but ask tremblingly, "Why are you doing this?"

Nelson paused in his steps. He turned and stared at her pale face momentarily.

"You, of all people, should know the answer to this!"

Sabrina smiled bitterly. She shouldn't have asked.

Nelson hated her for sleeping with him. This was his revenge.

She felt really naive. She had forgotten everything when he bought her a meal, indulged her by going to her house, and flattered her. After all, he did say that he would go along with her if she wanted to play games.

Nelson was annoyed at seeing her squatting there, lost in thought. He grabbed a thin blanket from the couch and tossed it to her before walking away.

He had some drinks that night. He had smoked several cigarettes by the roadside while waiting for Dylan to pick him up.

Never in his life had he shamelessly stomped on a woman's pride and dignity. Sabrina had broken that record.

Sabrina was still squatting there when he left the house, looking vulnerable.

The night wind was cold, and Nelson felt increasingly annoyed.

Dylan had just parked the car when Nelson's cold gaze fell on him.

"Did you crawl your way here?"

Dylan was at a loss for words. He only took ten minutes to arrive at his house, yet Nelson thought he was slow.

Upon noticing his anger, Dylan didn't dare to say much. He could easily guess that Sabrina wasn't as pleasing and obedient as before. Although Nelson didn't say anything, Dylan knew he wasn't happy about it.

After driving for a while, Dylan finally asked, "Do you want to go to Tucker Manor or the hotel?"

Nelson didn't respond, so he glanced at him through the rearview mirror and watched him absent- mindedly play with the ring in his hand.

"Does that person really exist?"

Nelson's Adam's apple bobbed.

He wondered about the person he hugged and kissed every night if that person didn't exist.

Even if it was just his dream, then who was the person who hugged him tightly and lay in his embrace?

He wondered why the person he had been with didn't exist.

"Just as I am looking and waiting for her, I believe she's doing the same."

Dylan felt bad for Nelson after he heard that.

As long as there were clues that would lead to that person, he would spare no effort to verify her identity regardless of where he was or what he was doing.

"But I have been searching for five years. Is it possible that she was in that fire—"

"No," Nelson interrupted.

He held the ring tightly in his hand and looked out of the window.

"Dylan, I've forgotten her scent from three years ago. What should I do if she still doesn't appear?"

Dylan glanced at him again and sighed.

Back then, Nelson and Sabrina weren't close because of their long-distance relationship. Now that they often kept in touch, it was impossible for Nelson not to love the pretty Sabrina.

Sabrina didn't have a good sleep that night. When she woke up the next day, her eyes looked puffy.

When she checked her phone the night before, she learned that Gerald's call hadn't gone through. Nelson deliberately tried to scare her. She also understood that if she didn't clarify things soon, Nelson wouldn't hesitate to tell Gerald the truth. So, she decided to break up with Gerald when she was going to collect the brooch.

She had ultimately failed Gerald. NôvelDrama.Org owns this.

When she went downstairs, she found that Joanna had prepared breakfast.

"Mrs. Tucker, you are back. Do I need to clean the room?"

There was a loud commotion in the living room last night. Joanna didn't come out of her room, but she could guess what was going on. After seeing Sabrina and Nelson keeping a distance from one another for three years, she decided to ask to see if the situation had changed.

"Yes, just clean it."

Nelson didn't regard Sabrina as his wife. Thus, she couldn't stay in the master bedroom.

As Joanna occupied herself with work, Sabrina received a call from Abigail. Abigail immediately started venting about Nelson.

"If that son of a bitch isn't going to divorce you anymore, why did he spend the night at Pamela's?"

Given how things ended up last night, it was fair that he went to look for the person he liked.

Abigail had returned to Slitton, and Sabrina requested her help with moving.

Abigail became angrier.

"Aren't you disgusted by him?"

Sabrina thought she could only endure it. If she didn't listen to him, he had plenty of ways to force her to comply. She would rather cooperate with him so she would suffer less. She felt that he could at least get some pleasure from enacting his revenge and tire of her sooner.

However, on the day Sabrina went to meet Gerald, he told her, "Sabrina, that son of a bitch agreed to divorce you."
