They were not my family.
It dawned on me that I stopped having a family when my mother died.
"I don't belong here." I said softly. I laughed bitterly. "I will always be in the wrong before you all eyes because I don't belong here in the first place?
Before another tear spilled from my eyes and ran down my chin, I turned my back and dashed out of the house.
I got into my car and drove away
Away from my pack to a club in the nearby pack. The same club met Alpha Leo in. As I walked in, I tried to convince myself that I did not ignore the clubs I saw on my way here from home to come here because I wanted to see Alpha Leo again.
I went over to the bar, sat at the exact position I met Alpha Leo in and ordered a drink. As I sipped my drink. I looked around the room for no one in particular. Or, maybe I was actually looking for someone.
