Rejected By Him Claimed By His Uncle (Rita and Leo)

Chapter 42

RITA'S POV

The morning sunlight seeping through the windows was finally able to wake me up.

I rolled on my bed and I got a whiff of Alpha Leo's scent on my bed. I smiled at the thought of him sneaking up on the bed to sleep next to me. I quickly brushed off the smile and sat up.

The memory of last night slowly came back to me and I slouched over and dropped my head, remembering how I had stared shamelessly at the Alpha's naked body.

I could not get the image of his huge c*** off my head and I felt increased blood flow to my pelvic area. My nipples erected and I quickly folded my jacket over my breast, feeling embarrassed at the nasty thoughts I was having. "Arghhh!" I I groaned and I slapped my forehead. I had truly made a fool of myself before my mate yesterday. I looked at the couch he sleeps on and as usual he was not there.

I heaved a sigh. "He must have left for work."

I

"No, I did not." My eyes widened as Alpha Leo walked in from the bathroom with a towel tied around his lower body.

There were tiny droplets of water on his skin. I watched as they trickled and rolled down the skin of his chest.

My eyes wandered down to his groin area and my cheeks flushed as the image appeared in my head again.

"Do you want to have a look again?" Alpha Leo teased and at that moment I wished I could disappear into thin air because I knew that I would have done so.

I quickly shifted my gaze away and my eyes went up to his face. He had that annoying but attractive smug smile on his face!

I liked the look of the soft, damp fringe his stray strands of hair formed on his forehead.

He looked vulnerable this way.

Not the weak kind of vulnerable. The

kind

Kind.

Frustrated at the direction my thoughts were heading to, I got out of my bed and rushed to the bathroom.

The soft chuckle that followed made me get embarrassed the more. I remained in the bathroom for a good couple of minutes before peeking into the room to make sure he was all dressed up.

He was and I left the bathroom to the door.

"What if you peeked and saw me naked?"

"I was not peeking," I lied and he grinned.

"Little liar," he said and I looked away.

I was more than a little liar. It dawned on me that very moment that I had told Alpha Leo a lot of lies lately.

I looked back at his face and then at my toes. "I'm sorry for how immature I acted yesterday. I just..." My voice trailed off and I looked up at his face. "I just want to know why you are against me having a look at that particular room. And why are you guarding the room that much? The guards and warriors in front of that green door are ten times more than the guards and warriors at the gate. 1/3 09:14 Mon, Oct 28 B Chapter 42 88%

Alpha Leo's face fell. "With time, I will let you know why. For your safety, I don't want anyone going in and out of that room. I'm the only one allowed to go in. Nobody else." But Ivy told me how he had shown Ama and her the room. I sighed. I decided to let it go.

Ama and Ivy were in his past. Just like how Sebastian was in my past,

And,

our past was different from the present. We had each other now. I should focus on that and work on how well I was willing to accept Alpha Leo into my life.

I nodded Ided at his words and he gave me a soft pat on the head before leaving the room.

I tried reaching out to Janice again, but she still kept on ignoring my calls. I planned to visit her but Ivy came around so I postponed my visit.

into the room? What do you think of it?" Ivy asked randomly after offering me a foot massage.

"So, have you gone into

I pulled my leg away from her hands and she looked up at my face, confused. "What's wrong? Do you not like the room?"

"Are you sure you've been to the room before?" I asked.

She nodded I in affirmation. "Of course, I have."Exclusive content from NôvelDrama.Org.

Again. That was in the past. I flashed a smile and said nothing.

"So, you like the the room?" She pressed on.

"I did not go in. My mate told me that no one is allowed to go in or out of that room," I answered and Ivy scoffed.

"Ama and I had gone I

in l before."

I frowned. Why was she pressing further? "That was in the past. If you check now, you'd see tons of guards and warriors guarding the room."

"It has always been that way," Ivy said casually. "The only set of people that have access to that room are a selected few that the Alpha trusts. Outsiders are not allowed to enter." furrowed my eyebrows. Did she just indirectly call me an outsider?

I tensed up and then blurted: "I'm sure you won't be able to go in now and if there was anybody the Alpha trusts enough to show anything, it's me."

!

Ivy smiled.

Her smile looked innocent. Something seemed off about it, but I could still see the innocence.

"Of course, the Alpha trusts you," Ivy said. "He stood by you and helped you prove your innocence when everyone in the pack accused you of trying to kill him."

I relaxed on the couch. The tension I felt decreased. She was right. Alpha Leo did trust me.

"And, I'm just realizing that he is the only person that has access to that room now, but would you blame me? I entered that room around two weeks ago." "I'm sure you can't enter now."

"Then I'll try," Ivy said.

"You will what?" I asked, wondering why we were still on this topic of discussion.

"I will try to enter the room today." She stood on her feet. "In about ten minutes, walk down to the green door." She headed toward the door. "I'll go first." A part

of me told me to ignore her. Another part of me was curious.

"That's fine by me," I said and waited inside the room for like ten minutes. Just like she asked me to.

After ten minutes, I walked down the wing to the green door and what I saw next shocked me.
