After the kiss, Nathalie looked at Nathan, whose ears were turning crimson, and chuckled, "Nathan, that's how you really kiss. Nathan's handsome face froze. "Are you saying I'm bad at kissing?"

Nathalie giggled, "You're just not experienced in love, it's understandable."

Her words drove Nathan a bit wild.

He confidently lifted her chin and planted a deep, passionate French kiss on her lips.

Nathalie found herself breathless, and when Nathan finally let her go, she was gasping for air.

Nathan teased, "Sis, you might wanna work on your cardio. Seems like your lung capacity needs a little help."

Nathalie shot him a glare. This guy, always cheeky after getting what he wants.

Who kisses for that long anyway?

"What brings you here so early?" she asked.

Nathan nodded seriously, "Well, I wanted to ask when you're gonna make things official with me?"

Nathalie couldn't help but laugh, "How old are you again? You're not even old enough to get legally hitched, right?"

Nathan replied, "Soon enough. We could get engaged first, then tie the knot."

Nathalie eyed him suspiciously, "Why the sudden rush?" Nathan took her hand gently, kissing it softly, "I'm scared I might lose my chance. I'd regret it forever if I did." Nathalie ruffled his hair, "What are you talking about? Losing your chance? You think I'm that flaky?"

Nathan asked cautiously, "But if... I mean if, Nina's no-good dad changes his ways and wants to patch things up, would you leave me to give Nina a complete family?" Nathalie confidently replied, "He won't."

"He's always been about Greta. That's not changing."

Nathan asked, "And you? Would you go back to him?"

"I wouldn't," Nathalie said firmly.

Seeing the worry in Nathan's eyes, Nathalie reassured him, "I'm not about to cling to a guy who hurt me."

"What if Nina needs him?"

Tears welled up in Nathalie's eyes, and she said solemnly, "Then I'd send her back to him. But as for you, you're mine."

Nathan's heart soared with joy as he

pulled her into a tight hug, kissing her eagerly, "I won't let Nina miss that sorry excuse for a dad. I'll make sure she only sees me as her real dad. That way, you won't be sad."

Nathalie held him close. He was the best thing that had ever happened to her.

When Nathalie and Nathan headed downstairs, the nanny had already set up breakfast.

But the dining room was oddly quiet today. Nathan frowned and asked, "Where is everyone?"

The nanny smiled, "The little one insisted on going out with Dominick and Ford, so they had breakfast early and left about half an hour ago."

Nathan's face darkened, "Those two think I'm just decoration? Taking the little miss out without a word to me?"

He then instructed the nanny, "Call Dominick and Ford right now, and tell them to get back pronto."

The nanny, a bit shaky, made the call.

To their surprise, it was their little

bundle of joy, Nina, who answered her voice sweet as honey, "Daddy, did you miss Nina? Nina missed you too."

The nanny passed the phone to Nathan, who swallowed hard. Hisnoveldrama
