Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 85

“I can pay, but your restaurant will go bankrupt sooner or later!”

“What did you say?” Jasper was so angry that he threw a punch without warning. The young man didn’t react and was hit, changing the nature of the situation.

“What are you doing, Jasper!” Willette was furious and immediately went to see the young man. “Are you okay, I’m sorry, I’m sorry!”

“You hit me?” He licked his lips. “Okay, I’ll pay the bill.”

“Sir, you don’t need to pay for this meal. It’s on us.”

“No need.”

“Sir…” Willette reached out to pull his arm but was pushed away.

“What are you pushing me for? You shameless thing!” Jasper didn’t feel guilty for punching someone, but became even more arrogant. He thought this man was just a commoner, not worth fearing.

Suddenly, the red-haired man took action, grabbing Jasper and pressing him onto the cash register, his big hand squeezing his neck. Jasper’s face instantly turned red, and he showed a look of fear.

Onlookers gathered around, afraid that a fight would break out.

“Say it again, I dare you?”

“Sir, please calm down!” Willette never expected things to escalate to this point.

“Sister, are you okay?” Nydia suddenly appeared, carrying a gust of wind and appearing in front of everyone. With her pure white face and worried expression, she walked over to Willette and asked.

“Nydia, why are you here?” Willette was startled when she saw Nydia.

“I came here to eat today. But let’s not talk about that now, let’s deal with this first.”

She walked up to the red-haired man. “Sir, I know you don’t mean to trouble the people in the restaurant, you’re just disappointed that the chef didn’t make the taste match the price, right?”

The red-haired man had already let go of Jasper. Jasper’s face was swollen like a pig liver and he was coughing hard.

“Who are you?” He raised an eyebrow and looked at Nydia.

“I used to be the chef in this restaurant, but I left after some things happened. If you don’t mind, I can make these dishes again for you to make up for it. What do you think?”

“You?” He seemed to doubt Nydia’s ability.

Nydia nodded with a smile, calm and peaceful, with a magical charm of her own.

“If you can…” his words were interrupted by Willette, “Nydia, I’ll take care of this matter. Don’t get involved, or it might cause trouble for you.”

“Sister, it’s okay. As long as I can help you, I don’t mind working harder.” She smiled brightly, both in words and in deeds to help Willette. If Willette refused again, it wouldn’t be appropriate, especially with so many people watching.

However, only Nydia knew that Willette really didn’t want her help, nor did she want her to show off her cooking skills.

“Please wait for me. I’ll go to the kitchen and make it again for you.”

“Okay. If the taste of what you make is not satisfactory to me,” he smirked, his gaze sweeping over Jasper and Willette, “we’ll see.”

Willette clenched her fists and couldn’t help asking Nydia, “Nydia, are you sure you can do it? You haven’t cooked for many years, and if he’s not satisfied with your food…”

The implication was that if Nydia was too eager to show off and brought more serious consequences to the restaurant, it would be Nydia’s fault.

“Sister, don’t worry. Since I took on this task, I’ll take care of everything. If I really can’t satisfy him, let him come to me for trouble. It won’t affect the restaurant chefs.”

Her words made the onlookers think that Nydia was really an angel, while her sister didn’t seem so sincere.

The two of them sat down again.

“Cuthbert, you went too far today.” The older man said to the red-haired man.

As a result, he pouted, “You got beaten up and you’re still blaming me?”

Cuthbert Cannon was speechless.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
