Nydia looked at the sudden one million dollars that appeared in her phone and felt a mix of emotions.

“Not enough? I have more.”

As soon as the words fell, another million dollars appeared.

“Enough, enough!”

She didn’t want to argue with Jesse after he regained his senses. Two million dollars should be enough for him, right? Any more might…

Jesse smiled, a rare genuine smile that made his usually sly eyes clear and bright. His smile even curved slightly, making him look cute.

Nydia was stunned. She had never seen Jesse smile like this before. He had a mocking smile, a cold smile, a devilish smile, a gentle smile, and a handsome smile, but never such an innocent smile.

Her only thought was that Jesse was seriously ill.

“You keep drawing.”

Nydia couldn’t concentrate on her drawing anymore. It was already 10:20, so she decided to stop.

“I’m not drawing anymore. Let’s go to sleep.”

“Okay.”

Nydia had never interacted with Jesse in this state before and felt a bit uneasy.

Before long, she noticed that Jesse had fallen asleep. He fell asleep faster than she did, and his face was relaxed, indicating that he was sleeping soundly.

She thought it was necessary to report this situation to Vincent the next day.

She quickly took out a needle from the drawer, sealed Jesse’s senses, and then gave him a pill to help him sleep better and recover faster while being treated with acupuncture and medication.

Following the same steps as the previous night, Nydia sweated profusely while administering the treatment. She took a quick shower during the medication process, and when she came back, Jesse was still lying quietly in bed.

After finishing everything, Nydia lay down and soon fell asleep.

Nydia instantly woke up and turned to see Jesse’s sleepy eyes. She looked at him, waiting for his response, but he just closed his eyes and went back to sleep.

Nydia got up and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

However, she was interrupted by Jesse’s urgent call, yelling her name repeatedly.

She rushed out to see what was wrong.

Jesse asked her to be obedient, otherwise he would get angry.

Surprisingly, his words seemed to work, as he turned around and went back to his room.

Nydia was worried about Jesse’s condition and hoped that he would not remember these things when he regained his senses.

After breakfast, Molly and Tavish went to school, and Nydia went to work. But she was still worried about Jesse, so she asked Vergil to keep an eye on him and call her if there were any unusual situations.

Vergil later called Nydia and said that Jesse was acting strange and looking at women’s clothes and handbags.

Nydia explained to Vergil that Jesse was not in a condition to go to work and asked him to stay with Jesse. Nydia called her friend Vincent to update her about the situation and told her about the events of the previous night.

“Nydia, where do you want to go for dinner tonight?” someone asked Nydia about treating everyone to dinner.

“Would it be possible to decide on the spot and go to Bright Moon restaurant? Do they have any available tables?” someone asked.

Nydia was surprised that they wanted to go to Bright Moon. “I’ve always wanted to eat at Bright Moon, but there’s often a long wait!”

“I’ll call and ask if they have a private room,” someone volunteered. Everyone gathered around to listen, looking very expectant.

When they found out they could reserve a private room, they were all very happy. Linda, who heard they were going to eat at Bright Moon, rushed over.

“I cancelled my date to come back for this. I haven’t eaten there in a long time,” she handed Nydia a membership card, “Jessie, use my membership card, you can get an 8. 8% discount.”
