Jesse held Nydia tightly, letting her bite his neck. The taste of blood in her mouth slowly restored her consciousness, and she smelled the familiar scent of Jesse. He was holding her. Just now, it was just a nightmare, not real! Jesse was fine, and she was fine too!

“Jesse, I will protect you well and won’t let anything happen to you!” Nydia said, crying.

He was about to comfort Nydia when he opened his mouth but swallowed his words. “Are you sure you will protect me?” He pointed to his neck, and blood flowed down his fair skin, dripping onto his collarbone.

Nydia was embarrassed. She immediately took out a tissue to wipe off the blood, but her hand was held by Jesse. “Don’t waste it.” His voice was charming, like a ghost in the night.

Nydia frowned slightly, not understanding what he meant. The blood drops were still rolling on his collarbone, and they would probably fall off in a short while.

“You have your period.” Nydia stared at him incredulously. His pale skin was reflected in the bright red blood, full of temptation. She inexplicably did not refuse and leaned forward to lick the blood around the wound and on his collarbone. The slight pain made him raise his head, and his Adam’s apple looked sexy.

His eyebrows furrowed slightly, and he curled his fingers around the blanket.

Nydia looked up at him, and the heat from her nose fell on his Adam’s apple, making her feel burning. As if sensing something, his slender fingers pushed Nydia away, no longer allowing her to take advantage of him.
