Asher lifted his chin and looked down at Nydia with disdain, as if he couldn’t be bothered with her. Then he glared fiercely at his assistant Maddie and said, “Who told you to help her? Let go!”

Maddie was startled, but didn’t release Nydia’s arm.

“Mr. Khan, she really fell hard,” Maddie could tell that Nydia was in pain, and it wasn’t just an act. She couldn’t bear to let such a pretty girl suffer alone.

“What’s it to you? Are you trying to cozy up to the sugar daddy with her?” Asher sneered.

Maddie’s face turned white with anger. She thought Asher’s words were really over the top.

The other people in the design department also thought Asher had gone too far. How could he say something so inappropriate, knowing that Nydia had a sugar daddy?

Taylor stepped in to smooth things over. “Mr. Khan, did you work on the script all night again? Is that why you’re so angry?” She went to Nydia and picked up the magazines, “How’s the fall, Nydia? Do you need to go to the hospital? I think Mr. Khan didn’t mean it, and it wouldn’t be good for the company if this gets out of hand.
