Nydia furrowed her brows, vaguely recalling the scene. “Was it when I was still in school?” she asked.

“Yes,” Jesse confirmed.

She remembered that she had turned her head and saw a man standing not far away. However, the backlighting made it difficult to see him clearly. All she could tell was that he was tall and strong. At the time, she hadn’t paid much attention and had turned away. By the time she thought about looking back, he was already gone.

Why did she remember that moment? Maybe it was the lighting at the time, or the fact that she was wearing her few pink dresses.

“Did you fall in love with me at first sight?” Nydia asked.

“Is that possible?” Jesse replied indifferently.

“Why not? Am I not attractive?” Nydia retorted.

Jesse didn’t know how to respond.

“You remembered me and even remembered the color of my dress after just one glance. Isn’t that love at first sight?” Nydia pressed.

“That’s just my good memory,” Jesse said, trying to remain stubborn.

You held it for an hour and a half just to come up with that little bit?

One sentence in an hour and a half, I’m impressed!

But it’s good enough that he can write at all. She can’t expect too much from someone who’s all talk and no action, and especially someone who’s so stubborn. It’s already good that he can write a scene from their first meeting. Otherwise, he probably wouldn’t even remember it.

Seeing Jesse’s pursed lips, Nydia stopped teasing him, or else he would have become angry and embarrassed.

“You should rest early. I’m going back to sleep.”

Jesse was surprised. He thought Nydia would definitely stay in his room tonight, but she was leaving.

“What? Don’t want me to go?”

“Get lost!” The word “get lost” this time was different from the previous one when he was angry. it sounded more like an embarrassed confession.

Nydia smiled and left with the love letter.

Just as Jesse had let out a sigh of relief and was about to massage himself, there was a knock on the door.

“What’s up now?” His face turned a little pale, his breathing becoming somewhat rapid. He almost took off his pants. He still didn’t want Nydia to see his legs, and he wasn’t ready for that.

“Why so fierce?” Nydia immediately became unhappy.

Jesse was somewhat helpless, but he couldn’t explain himself, so he softened his tone and asked, “What’s wrong?”

“The pillow arrived. Take a look, to see if you are satisfied with it?” Nydia’s tone became colder as she held out the pillow for Jesse to see.

Jesse glanced at Nydia’s face and awkwardly said, “It came pretty quickly.” He was really grasping at straws. “You did a good job.”

“Then give me back the previous one.” She was used to the previous one, and it had her own scent. She wanted to exchange it back.

However, Jesse finally realized the problem. Both pillows had his face on them, so shouldn’t they each have their own?

“Do you notice anything wrong?” Jesse picked up both pillows and showed them to Nydia.

“What’s wrong?” Nydia looked puzzled.

Nydia suddenly realized. “Are you saying you want to sleep with me?”

“It’s a pillow with your picture on it,” Jesse corrected.

“Okay, I’ll go back and draw another one, but what style do you like? Sexy, seductive, aloof, or ladylike?”

“Whatever style, just wear some clothes.”

Nydia almost laughed out loud!
