Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 203

She could only resign herself to take out paper and pencil.

She sat at the table and sketched out the rough outline. At first, nothing was clear, but slowly, the form emerged, different from the one on the pillow.

Jesse sat next to her, emitting a faint scent of bath soap.

He also smelled Nydia’s scent. They both used the same soap, which led to the same scent. It permeated the air with an ambiguous atmosphere, revealing the intimacy between them.

As Nydia drew, she glanced at Jesse, making him nervous.

“What?” he asked.NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.

“Can you show me your abs? Otherwise, I’m afraid I won’t draw accurately. I didn’t look closely before,” she said seriously.

In this situation, showing her his abs was practically an invitation.

However, just as he had this thought, Nydia spoke up again, “Mr. Pascall, don’t worry. I’m a professional and have professional ethics. If I say I’m just looking at your abs, I will never touch them.”

“What professional ethics?!” Jesse thought.

“Are you not going to show me?” Nydia held the pencil against her chin, looking at him with clear eyes.

Jesse was helpless.

After all, they had slept together, so what was the big deal about showing her his abs?

He lifted his shirt, his body taut, and his six-pack abs clearly visible in front of her.

They looked really good!

Nydia was tempted to touch them, but she restrained herself, remembering what she had said earlier.

Jesse noticed her small movements and emotional changes.

Actually, she didn’t have to restrain herself.

“Okay,” Nydia said.

“What?” he asked, surprised that she was satisfied with just looking.

She was so unpredictable!

Afterward, Nydia focused on drawing.

Jesse wanted to see more clearly and involuntarily moved closer to him. His presence was strong and made it impossible for Nydia to ignore him.

She stopped and suddenly lifted her head, surprising Jesse. She kissed him lightly on the lips.

Jesse was stunned, and by the time he recovered, Nydia had returned to her drawing.

His heart was racing, and his ears were turning red.

Soon, Nydia finished the drawing.

“Look, it’s a different you!” She showed it to Jesse.

“What about my abs?” he asked.

His gaze fell on the man in the black suit.

“I think you look better with clothes on,” she said.

“Why did you want to see my abs earlier, then?” Jesse asked.

The drawing of Jesse on paper had a cold and stern expression, with his lips slightly pursed. But his ears betrayed his blush, and his hand rested on his tie, as if about to loosen it. His eyes were deep, like a restrained CEO about to break free.

“I didn’t know you were so good at drawing,” Jesse said.

There was no emotion in Jesse’s words. He only acknowledged Nydia’s ability to draw but didn’t show whether he liked the painting or not.

“I studied fashion design in college, drawing is a basic skill.”

Jesse knew she had studied fashion design, but it seemed like she never really got into it, as if it was just a random major she picked in college.

“Since you studied fashion design, it would be better for you to apply directly for a fashion designer position.” Play to your strengths.

Nydia looked at him, signaling him to continue.

“I checked Malone Group’s job openings during the day, and they are recruiting assistant designers.”

“You want me to apply for an assistant designer position directly?”

“You can learn more from the basics.”

After all, Nydia hadn’t worked in the fashion industry since graduating from college, and she had no work experience. She couldn’t apply for a designer position.

“When you have experience, you can apply for higher-end brands as a designer or start your own studio.”

Since Willette wanted her to work, she would take this job and kill two birds with one stone.

“Okay.” She tilted her head slightly, smiling as she responded, both her voice and tone were soft, as if she trusted him very much, and his chest swelled with pride.
