Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 167

Tavish was working rapidly in his study.

On the other side of the house, Cade and Laura wanted to talk to their two children.

Nydia went to the room to find them but only found Molly.

“Molly, where is your brother?”

“He’s in the bathroom.” Molly obediently replied, then continued to play with her puzzle.

Nydia decided to wait in the room, but Tavish didn’t come out for a while.

“How long has your brother been in there?”

“He went in before you came in, Mommy,” Molly replied nonchalantly, but she was worried inside. “Brother, please come out soon.”

“Mommy, I’ll call him out when he’s done. You can go do something else.”

“I’m not busy. I’ll wait here for your brother.”

Molly suddenly looked anxious. What should she do? She quickly grabbed her toy and put it in her pocket.

“Mommy, I have a gift hidden in your room.”

“Oh? You hid a gift?”

“Yes, Mommy, I’m sure you haven’t found it. Let me help you look for it.”

Nydia was surprised. She had no idea what Molly was talking about, but she followed Molly to the bedroom.

“Where did you hide it? Let me look for it first.”

“Okay, Mommy.”NôvelDrama.Org © content.

While Nydia was searching the bedroom, Molly quickly hid the toy in a corner and pretended nothing had happened. The room was quite large, making it difficult to find things.

“Molly, can I look for it after dinner?”

“Okay.” Molly hoped that her brother had already come out.

The mother and daughter returned to the children’s room, and by that time, Tavish had returned.

“Where were you guys?”

Molly breathed a sigh of relief and wiped the sweat off her forehead. That was close.

“I went to look for a gift with Mommy. Let’s eat now.”

The three of them went to the dining room and sat down. The two children had their own chairs, and Nydia sat next to Jesse.

“Julia, please serve the dishes to Nydia. Her hand has not fully recovered.”

Nydia’s hand holding the chopsticks stiffened. She had almost forgotten about this. She awkwardly put down her chopsticks.

Julia immediately came over to serve Nydia, “Missus, tell me what you want to eat.”

“Just give me a balanced meal. Nutrients should be well-balanced,” Nydia said as an example to teach the children not to be picky eaters.

Willette was shocked. Was Jesse really so good to Nydia? Didn’t Nydia say that Jesse treated her poorly and they often quarreled and had cold wars? Why did it seem different from what she saw?

No, it must be Jesse pretending. After all, Nydia was injured several times before. He was probably pretending because of domestic violence.

Meanwhile, Rosalind wanted to gouge her own eyes out. She didn’t want to see her son being so kind to Nydia. Nydia didn’t deserve it at all.

“Eat up. Our chef makes delicious food,” Nydia invited the Malones.

“Just now, your mother-in-law said that your cooking is good. Why didn’t you make us any when you were living at home?” Laura asked with a smile.

“I was busy with school and work, and I didn’t have time to cook for you. I’ll cook for you when I have the chance, and you can taste my skills.”

Actually, Willette didn’t allow her to cook because she was afraid that if she cooked too deliciously, she would steal Cade and Laura’s favor.

At this time, Willette’s phone rang. She didn’t answer the call at first, but the person called again, so she had to answer.

“What’s up? I’m at Jesse’s house.”

“Willette, why did you post such a tweet? Did you post it from the wrong account?”
