Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 159

“Answer my question!” Tavish persisted, staring at him with furrowed brows. His cute and innocent face now looked serious, with a hint of Jesse’s authority.

“You, a little brat, dare to meddle in my affairs?”

“I am part of the family. I have to take care of anything related to family matters.”

Tavish spoke righteously, not like a child at all.

“I don’t know if she likes me or not, but I don’t like her. Why do you think she likes me?”

Upon hearing Jesse say that he doesn’t like her, Tavish breathed a sigh of relief.

“Just now, when she was talking to mommy, her attitude was not good. It’s obvious that she doesn’t like mommy, and mommy can tell that she likes you!”

So it’s not just his own illusion.

“Okay, I understand. You go take a shower and go to bed.”NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.

Tavish nodded and ran back to his room.

Nydia was about to look for him when she saw him coming in and asked, “Shall I prepare the bathwater for you?”

“No need, you can leave now.” Tavish refused.

Daddy is waiting for you!

But Nydia felt a pang in her heart. Tavish was still resistant to her.

What should she do to make up for the harm she had done to Tavish and make him see her as a mother?

Does Tavish want a new mom?

“Well, I’ll leave now. Take care of yourself.” Tavish was able to do many things independently, such as taking a shower, even at a young age.

Because he was not liked by Nydia since he was a child, he worked hard to become excellent and sensible, thinking that this would make him likable.

Nydia felt more and more heartbroken as she thought about it. Tavish was still so young, yet he was so sensible and heartwarming. He was in a completely different state of life from Molly, who loved to play and make a fuss.

She walked out of the room and saw Jesse.

“Go to the study.”

The two of them went to the study, one after the other.

“I haven’t had a chance to look at the online content yet. Sara told me that your domestic violence case has gone viral.”

Even now, she still hadn’t touched her phone.

“You should know that the day you wore such a short skirt to the Malone Villa, you were bound to be seen by them.” Jesse’s face was dark, and he scrutinized Nydia with his eyes.

“But you didn’t stop me that day, did you?” she retorted.

“Oh? You knew I wouldn’t stop you?”

Nydia approached him, leaning forward with both hands on the desk.

She was wearing a high-necked outfit today, so even if she leaned forward, she wouldn’t reveal anything.

But Jesse immediately felt that this woman was like the moon, as if she could radiate a sinful light that made people involuntarily sink.

She looked at Jesse steadily, with a slight smile on her lips.

“I know you’re testing me,” she said with a clear understanding in her eyes, which made her appear more candid and made Jesse a little uneasy.

“So, Mr. Pascall, how are you going to handle this now?”

She changed her posture, with her palms originally supported on the table changed to her forearms pressing on the desk, leaning further forward, and narrowing the distance between her and Jesse.

The fragrance of a solitary rose began to entangle him again.

He noticed that she had been using this fragrance of rose a lot recently, which was both sweet and arrogant.

“If you’re going to team up with the Malones to go after me, I won’t be able to handle that,” he said, leaning back and pulling away from Nydia, his expression calm but tinged with sarcasm, while his heart beat faster than usual.

“Well, you’re right,” Nydia said, standing up straight. “But you seem to never engage in a battle you’re not certain of. How could you have allowed something like that to happen in front of Willette without preparation, Mr. Pascall?”

The last words were plain enough, and countless people called him by that name, but when they came out of her mouth, they were filled with a lingering taste, as if they had been entangled between her lips and teeth before being gently uttered.

Not fighting an uncertain battle?

The only uncertain battle he had fought in his life was marrying her.

“Willette will come looking for me soon. Do you want to fight for me now?” She licked her lips lightly, her smile charming, and the diamond ring on her ring finger shimmered.
