Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 134

“Mommy, what’s wrong with you?” Molly immediately stopped eating and looked at Nydia with concern.

“I’m feeling unwell. I will go and rest first. You guys eat well.” She didn’t have much of an appetite now, and she would ask the chef to make some food later.

“Mommy, why are you feeling unwell? Mommy, squat down and let me touch your forehead.”

Nydia’s knees couldn’t really bend down. It was already painful just standing.

“Molly, I don’t have a fever. I just don’t have an appetite.”

Molly’s eyes widened in excitement.

“No appetite? Does that mean there’s a baby in your belly?”

The whole family was shocked!

The most shocked was Rosalind. Pregnant? She looked at Jesse, but his face remained calm.

“Julia, help Nydia go back to her room.”

Nydia was stunned. Should she explain or not? Julia had come over to help her up.

Molly was pulled by Tavish to eat properly before going to find her mother. “Brother, do you think the new baby is a boy or a girl? Should we bet? I guess it’s a boy, you guess it’s a girl!”

“…”

Jesse sternly said, “Molly, eat!”

Molly immediately lowered her head to eat, but a bit as she wanted to finish and see Nydia.

“My little angel, eat slower, or you’ll choke later,” Rosalind worriedly said. Jesse looked over, and Molly slowed down her eating speed. At times like this, Molly was afraid of Jesse. When Jesse criticized her and made her write a self-criticism, she could act as “Daddy” for five seconds!

Nydia was helped by Julia to the room. “Julia, help me,” Nydia asked Julia to pull down her pants as she had trouble doing it herself. “Missus, this…” Julia saw that both of Nydia’s knees were bruise.

“Use the medicinal oil to help me rub it,” Nydia said.

“Okay, I’ll go get it,” Julia replied.

Nydia touched her knee, feeling the pain.

She had probably been kneeling for more than half an hour. If Jesse came back late, her knees would definitely be in trouble.

“Missus, please bear with it,” Julia said.

She thought she could endure the pain, but Julia rubbed the medicinal oil on her knees a few times, and it hurt too much.

“Julia, forget it. Let it be. It will heal on its own,” Nydia refused.

“Missus, if you don’t rub it, it will heal very slowly, and…” Julia explained.

“It’s too painful,” Nydia rejected.

Julia had no choice and thought for a moment before saying, “Then let me use a hot towel to apply on it.”

“Okay, thank you,” Nydia agreed.

Julia’s attitude towards her now was not bad. She wasn’t as guarded as before. At least just now, she seemed to be quite concerned about her.

During dinner that day, the two children ate quickly, and Jesse finished his meal and let them go to Nydia’s room. Rosalind spoke up, “This dish is just average.”

“Then eat less,” Jesse retorted.

“… ” She felt like her son was targeting her.

She put down her chopsticks and wiped her mouth, but her gaze fell on the muffin. It was soft and chewy, with the fragrance of vegetables, and tasted good. However, at the thought that it was made by Nydia, she suppressed her desire to eat.

“Is she pregnant?” Rosalind asked.

“I don’t know.”

“You’re her man, and you don’t know?” Rosalind asked.

“It’s not like I have her menstrual cycle,” Jesse replied.

“… ” She cursed at her disobedient son.

Jesse’s words had made Rosalind too angry to speak.Belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.
