Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 116

Nydia reached out her finger, feeling extremely embarrassed. Even her fingertips were awkwardly bent. Jesse applied a band-aid to her wound, and the slight sting made her heart curl up a bit. She felt a vague sense of ambiguity between the two of them.

She then realized that Jesse was standing up, but he sat down again after putting the band-aid on her, and then left the kitchen. Although she felt that Jesse’s attitude was a bit different tonight, she decided to cook dinner first.

Last night, when she brought the dinner out, Jesse was already at the dining table.

“Eat.” They each had a small plate of cauliflower fried rice.

Jesse took a bite, and his drooping eyes lit up slightly. He had to admit that Nydia’s cooking skills were really good. She could make simple things taste rich, and more complex dishes were even better.

“How is it?” Nydia asked.

“It’s okay.” Jesse just looked at her without saying anything.

Nydia sneered inwardly. He’s such a stubborn man!

After they finished eating, they each went to wash up and returned to their room. Looking at the two sleeping children, who were soft and cute, Nydia’s heart melted instantly. She lay down next to Molly.

In her memory, after the two children were born, she had insufficient breast milk and even suffered from postpartum depression. As a result, both children were taken care of by a nanny, and she had not taken care of them much herself, let alone slept with them.

Now sleeping next to her child, she felt a warm and reassuring feeling.

The next morning, the two children woke up first. Nydia opened her eyes and met a pair of shiny black eyes, like two water-washed peaches, gleaming in the dark.

“Mommy, good morning!” Molly grinned, revealing two rows of small teeth.

“Good morning, Molly.” As she got up, she saw that Jesse was also awake. She told them, “Mommy will make breakfast now, you can stay in bed for a bit longer.”

After she left, there were only Jesse and the two kids left in the room.

Jesse’s lazy morning face changed to a serious one. “Tavish, what happened last night?”

Tavish felt a pang in his heart. He knew that once his dad used that tone to ask him, he would not allow him to lie or be vague.

“Dad, it was Molly’s idea, it had nothing to do with Brother!” Molly stepped up to admit her mistake, “Brother did it to protect me… um… the word he used was that he didn’t want to but had to come.”

“… reluctantly,” the twins thought in unison.

“Yes, yes, reluctantly, Brother came reluctantly.”

Jesse picked up Molly and said, “You think you can do whatever you want because your Brother loves you?”

“Dad, what does “do whatever you want” mean?” She blinked innocently, and Jesse was so angry that he gave her the order, “Tavish, answer!”

Tavish hesitated but answered.

“Dad, I didn’t do whatever I wanted, I just wanted to know if you and Mommy would argue, if you would bully Mommy. Even though you apologized last time, it doesn’t mean you’ve changed, do you? We still need to observe you carefully!” Molly’s argument was so reasonable that Jesse couldn’t refute it.

Tavish timely added, “Molly is observing daddy, I am observing mommy.”

Jesse was so angry that he was blocked and couldn’t refute them!

Question: What should I do if the children are too smart?

Answer: If they are your own children, just bear with it!

“What have you observed?” Jesse asked patiently.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
