Chapter 32 Unbridled Rage
Chapter 32 Unbridled Rage
The next day, Antonio returned home in a rage.
He didn't understand why Adelaide was still in contact with Channing, and when he thought that they
met in his own villa, Antonio's anger was unrestrained.
When he got home, Damla was nowhere to be found, so he went straight to the second floor.
The door to Adelaide's room was closed. When he pushed it open, Adelaide was lying on the bed, with
even breathing coming from her nose.
He was angry, but the woman was still lying in bed sleeping like nothing was wrong?
At the thought that Adelaide and Channing had sex in this bed, he could not hold back his anger.
"Get up!"
Antonio chided loudly. His voice managed to scare Adelaide awake. She sat up suddenly. Her eyes
were as wide as copper bells. After seeing the man, she blinked.
"Antonio?"
She asked incredulously.
"It's me!"
His voice still sounded like it had come up from an iceberg.
Adelaide found he had a wrong expression and asked after hesitation.
"What’s wrong?"
He grunted softly.
"What’s wrong?"
Antonio's shirt was unprecedentedly a bit rumpled and his hair was in a mess. Last time they met, they NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.
looked at each other coldly too.
Adelaide had used to this mode of getting along.
But normally, even if he was not in good mood, he would pay attention to his image. After living with
Clarissa, he was unkempt like a poor wretch without a father or a mother.
It caused his image in Adelaide's mind to plummet.
Adelaide shook off her thoughts of his outer image, frowned and recalled carefully. She didn't seem to
have done anything to annoy him since he left home after the fight two days ago.
But when she met Antonio's eyes, the unconcealed murderous aura in them told Adelaide that
something was definitely wrong.
Even if she thought about it, she didn't know what she had done wrong to provoke him to come and
raise hell even despite his image.
"I don't know!"
Adelaide shook her head and asked again in a whisper.
"Antonio, should you be with Clarissa?
She did not come with you?"
Other than Clarissa making troubles again, Adelaide really couldn't think of anything that had offended
him.
Hearing this, the man seemed to get even angrier. He came to the bed with one stride, grabbed
Adelaide's wrist and asked viciously,
"You cheated on me at home!"
After a pause, without giving Adelaide a chance to explain, he narrowed his eyes to reveal a murderous
aura.
"You've got nerve to dating another man in my house."
Adelaide froze, another man?
And where did he hear the gossip?
He continued,
"Adelaide, why are you always tangled up with Channing?
Is he really that good?
Does he worth you take the risk to make merry in my bed?"
"What are you talking about?"
"No!
Let go of me ... let go..."
Not waiting for Adelaide to finish her words, Antonio covered her lips with his cold lips. He pressed her
down his body and clamped her chin with his hands, exhaling hot air that fell all over Adelaide's face.
"Did I ever tell you that you're my woman!"
"Are you that lonely? Lack of love?"
With that, his other hand slowly slid towards her private parts. Adelaide was shocked, with tears
instantly falling down. She pulled the restless hand and cried out, "Stop it, stop it, I'm pregnant, stop it."
"You know you're pregnant? Then why did you seduce your ex-boyfriend? Hmm? Did you help him?
Did he appease your horny body?"
His words became more and more unpleasant. Adelaide was furious, lifting her leg and hitting the man
hard with her knee in his private part. He screamed, the pain spread from under him to his whole body
in a flash. He had to get up from her body, the beads of sweat seeping out on his forehead proved that
his pain was unbearable.
"You dare kick me?"
His words were questioning, but his voice was unusually cold.
Adelaide stood up and looked stubbornly straight at him.
"Antonio, since I married you, I haven't done anything to damage the Baron family's reputation, but you,
keeping a mistress outside and living with her. How can you shamelessly question me?"
She was obviously angry, but there was no greater grief than her broken heart. She had really saved
up enough disappointment,
"Even if that's true, if you can keep a mistress, so why can't I have a lover?
Even if I got a lover, it was after you left the family. And I just learned it from you."
"Antonio, did you ask from me? Did you ask from Damla? Just hearing others say that I'm having an
affair with Channingn, you convict me? Even a condemned man is given a chance to explain himself,
have you ever given me one?"
Adelaide looked at him with cold eyes. He could not say a word. Seeing this, Adelaide snickered.
"Heh... you can't talk anymore? You asked me if I remembered I was your woman, but do you
remember? I'm yours, but you're Clarissa's. Even then I haven't complained, and you, don't believe me
again and again. You looked at me with your cold eyes every time. Am I your woman or your prisoner?"
Her last words were almost a yell. She forced herself from falling tears, but the tears poured out like a
waterfall as she remembered her past grievances.
Antonio suddenly found that he had heard it all from someone else. When he tried to find Damla for
confirmation, she wasn't there and he lost his mind in anger.
She wiped her tears, it had been a long time since she had spoken so much to Antonio.
"Antonio, I hate you, but I'm still going to tell the truth. I want to know if your heart is made of flesh or
cast iron? I want to know if you're going to feel guilty or not?"
She sniffed her nose. Her dark eyes seemed like sharp swords piercing through Antonio's heart, as if
she really wanted to see what his heart was like.
"I never contacted Channing. He ran over to me like crazy and told me something about why he
appeared to you and me. You can ask Damla for confirmation on that."
"As for what exactly is, I'm afraid if I tell you, you'll suspect I slander Clarissa, so you can find out for
yourself or ask Clarissa."
Antonio suddenly remembered that Koby had found out that the mastermind of the party disturbance
was Clarissa, but he forget what he was thinking at that time.
He also forgot to remind Clarissa to stop meddling in Adelaide's affairs, so nothing else happened with
her and Channing?
Because of this result, he was inexplicably at peace.
Could it be related to Clarissa again?
Antonio was in suspicion. He knew that no matter who was behind the provocation, Adelaide was
innocent. And for the first time, he felt humiliated and left the room.
