Chapter 15 I'm Not Your Mother
Chapter 15 I'm Not Your Mother
At dawn, Cindy got up.
After a quick wash, she rushed out of the door. She quickened her pace to the subway station.
She fainted in the hospital. The Head Nurse was afraid that something bad would happen to her again,
so she asked her to go home and rest for a few days. However, Cindy couldn't have a good rest due to
the expenses of her family and the medical expenses of Jason.
She checked the time just now, and it was still a few minutes before the departure.
If she missed this taxi, she would be late for the hospital next time. According to the rules of the
Department, the bonus would be deducted if one was late. Although there was not much money, it was
a big sum for Cindy, who was going to stingy about every penny. At least, she could buy some delicious
food to satisfy Jason's craving for food.
Jason.
Thinking of this name, Cindy suddenly became motivated.
When she trotted all the way to the hospital, Cindy found that the breakfast she bought on the roadside NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.
had been crowded into no shape in the subway. Her shirt was crumpled.
She smiled bitterly.
There were too many people in the rush hour, and Cindy didn't want to waste money on taxi.
After work today, she had to talk to Horald about the divorce. She had to settle it as soon as possible.
When she got the money, Jason couldn't wait any longer. He had been relying on only Chinese
medicine these days, and his face seemed to be getting worse and worse.
As soon as Cindy entered the Department, she saw Shelly walking towards the dressing room with
several people. Cindy stopped.
After what happened last time, Cindy didn't want to have a direct conflict with them.
"Sister Cindy, do you have this for breakfast?" A cheerful and innocent voice came from behind Cindy.
She smiled.
"Lena are you on duty today?" Cindy turned around and smiled at her.
And Lena smiled back at her. "I was on night duty last night. I will go home after I finish my work. I'm so
tired." Lena rubbed her temples.
"Sister Cindy, I am just saying. You can't save money like this. Health is the most important thing."
Lena's serious look made Cindy burst into laughter.
Unexpectedly, Cindy choked on the bread. "Lena, you are so cute."
"Lena is right. You should take good care of yourself. What about your brother if you get sick?"
The Head Nurse came over from the dressing room and couldn't help interrupting. She turned to Lena
and smiled, "go back and have a rest. You have stayed up all night. I heard that two patients were
transferred from the emergency department last night. That's enough."
"You are so kind, Head Nurse." Lena pounced on the Head Nurse, put her arm around her shoulder
and wanted to kiss her.
"Go ahead."
The Head Nurse stepped back.
Standing aside, Cindy couldn't help smiling.
These days, she could only be so relaxed in front of them.
"Ding!"
The elevator opened.
Then someone roared, "Cindy, you bitch! Get out!"
The smile on Cindy's face froze.
Mindy Wu.
Cindy's mother-in-law came out of the elevator and didn't see Cindy leaning against the table. She
raised her throat and shouted.
"Mom." Cindy walked over and whispered.
Mindy didn't appreciate her kindness. She curled her lips and squinted at Cindy. "Ha ha, I don't deserve
this title. We can't afford a daughter-in-law like you."
"Mom, can we go out and have a talk? This is the ward. It's not good to affect everyone." Seeing that
many people were looking at them, Cindy was a little anxious.
Rumors about her clinging to the power were still flying in the air. If Mindy made a fuss, her days in the
Department in the future would be...
But Mindy came here today to teach Cindy a lesson.
"Everyone, come and have a look at her. She is such a seductive woman. In order to hook up with the
rich, she even cuckolded her husband on their wedding night. How could such a woman deserve the
title of "angel in white"?. Bah!"
She roared, regardless of Cindy's dignity.
Horald was fired from the hospital, and Joyce lost her child. Mindy was furious. She was just a common
woman, and the most important thing for her was children.
It was all Cindy's fault.
Seeing that more and more people gathered, Mindy became more complacent. If that was the reason
why she came here today.
"This woman gave you injection and medicine every day. I feel dirty at the thought of it. Horald
graduated from the medical school and was a top student. The hospital fired him indiscriminately. This
woman should be fired."
Mindy was uneducated. If she continued, the following words would be harsh. Cindy stepped forward
and pulled her arm. "Mom."
"Don't call me that. You have divorced my son. I'm not your mother."
Mindy shook off Cindy's hand.
The bread in Cindy's hand fell to the ground.
When Shelly and the others came out of the dressing room, they heard the noise. They approached,
raised their eyebrows and sneered. "Hey, what's going on, Cindy?"
"What's going on? It's just that she cheated on her husband and her mother-in-law came to reason with
her. Hee hee."
A mocking laughter sounded.
Rumors hurt people.
Cindy's heart sad and she kept clenching her fists and didn't notice that her nails were embedded in
her flesh. Standing there, she trembled slightly.
"No, I didn't."
Tears gushed out of Cindy's scarlet eyes.
The Head Nurse didn't want the situation to be out of control. She walked forward, pulled a long face
and said coldly, "this is the hospital, not the place where you make trouble. Please go out."
"Why? If you don't fire this woman today, I won't leave. Anyway, my son has lost his job and my
grandson. She is a murderer."
Pointing at Cindy's nose, Mindy cursed. Then she ran to the nurse station and sat down.
Well, that was her purpose.
Cindy sneered.
Horald, you are so despicable.
"Get out."
"I won't leave."
The Head Nurse said sternly. Mindy didn't buy it. Instead, she raised her head and looked arrogant.
Everyone looked at this scene.
"Mom." A loud shout broke the ice.
Horald hurried over.
Seeing Horald show up, Mindy was cheered up.
"Horald, you come just in time. Tell everyone how aggrieved you are. Tell them what this woman did to
you today. Why can she still stay here when you are fired from the hospital?"
"Well, Horald, if you want to be a man, you need to tell everything out today."
Cindy said in a trembling voice. "Of course, and the grandson." Then she turned to Mindy.
Horald's face changed.
"Mom, let's go home. This is hospital. It's not good for you to stay here."
"Not good? How is this not good?" Mindy was not satisfied with Horald's cowardice and retorted.
Because of anger, her face was full of ferocity. It looked a little scary.
The man's words were still in Horald's ears, and he dared not disobey.
After thinking for a while, Horald made up an excuse. "Mom, something happened to Joyce."
"What happened to her?"
Sure enough, Mindy rushed out of the nursing station nervously.
Horald got hold on Mindy and dragged her out of the room.
At the corner of the stairs, a man curled his lips.
