Chapter 34
Chapter 34
Javier's POV
Throughout the session, Gabriella pretended not to recognize me and addressed me as Mr. Hills. Did
she not hear that she has been renamed Mrs. Hills? Could it be that she is still enraged about what ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
occurred earlier? I believe I can handle the cold Gabriella, what is it that she likes? This is really
incredible. I have no knowledge of the lady I intend to marry, the mother of my kid, whom I have just
spat all over due to my anxieties. Perhaps I should contact Grandma and enquire about Xavier's
mother's preferences. The phone rang, and Grandma answered immediately.
"Exactly the person I wanted to speak with."
"Well, hello to you too, grandma. Where has Xavier gone?"
"You and I need to talk before you speak with Xavier. Have you met Gabriella?"
"Yes, Grandma, I accidentally enraged her and am searching for a way to apologize, but I'm not sure
what she prefers. That is why I want to find out what Xavier's mother enjoys.'
Did Sandra meet Gabriella?"
"No, Grandma, where are all these questions coming from?"
"Mrs. Williams came here today to accuse you of infidelity with Sandra. They now want to organize the
wedding date."
"There will be no wedding grandma. Sandra had about five years to come clean with me, but she has
not stated anything to me, and she continues to do the same thing again and over. I assumed she'd be
savvy enough to come clean after all these years, but she thinks I'm in the dark. I engaged her
because you want a grandchild, but she would never be a significant person to me. She was once
unique, but not anymore. I'd rather pursue and reconcile with the mother of my kid than marry Sandra
Williams, a grandma. We'll discuss this more when I return. I'd want to question Xavier about his
mother's preferences right now."
"Purchase blue lilies and chocolates for her," Grandma stated and then hung up the phone. What
exactly do "blue lilies" mean? Whatever the case may be, I trust Grandma's judgment. I walked away
from the shoot and went to a florist. I'm still in disbelief that I'm purchasing flowers. That made me
crack up aloud. I suppose love may motivate you to do things you never imagined you'd do.
When I returned, it was a little late, and I walked directly to Gabriella's suite, unconcerned about who
was gazing at me. I knocked on the door.
