Chapter 64 Brother-in-law, Let Me See How Capable You Are
Arthur's face was expressionless as he locked eyes with Vivienne. "Do you want it now?" he asked.
He knew what Vivienne was up to, and he also knew that she wanted what he had in his hands. If he gave it to her easily, she would tear him apart the next second.
Vivienne suddenly pulled Arthur's shirt and smiled wickedly at him. "Then why don't you try? I really want to see how capable my good brother-in-law is."
Their eyes were fixed on each other's faces, seemingly able to read each other's thoughts but unable to fully understand them.
Arthur's eyes gradually darkened with danger like a wolf ready to pounce on its prey. Vivienne was the target of his desire for a long time.
"That depends if you can handle it," Arthur said slowly.
However, Arthur had already made up his mind not to let Vivienne go tonight. Unfortunately, his phone suddenly rang.
At first, Arthur didn't intend to answer it because the ringing sound echoed loudly in the empty underground parking lot. But when he saw Samantha's name displayed on the screen after several rings, he reluctantly answered it. Vivienne sneered inwardly when she heard Samantha's voice from the phone call since couples who truly loved each other would use pet names instead of full names or surnames even if they sounded cheesy or ambiguous; one could tell that Samantha held no special place in Arthur's heart just by looking at how her name appeared on his phone screen without any endearment attached.
"Hey Samantha," Arthur answered coldly while trying hard not show impatience towards her whining tone over their conversation through which Vivienne could hear clearly due their proximity.
"I can't sleep; where are you?" Samantha complained over the line. This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.
Arthur was already annoyed, but he still kept his voice calm. "I'm already asleep. Why are you calling me so late?"
"I can't sleep and I just wanted to hear your voice. Arthur, it's been days since you last visited me; I miss you so much," Samantha said.
"The company has been busy lately, but I'll come see you in a few days," Arthur replied.
Vivienne chuckled inwardly at the typical excuse that men would use when they were caught up with someone else or had lost interest in their girlfriends for some reason.
Samantha grumbled on the phone, "You always say that every time we talk! But tomorrow, you must come see me!"
Vivienne licked her lips as she thought about what she could do to take advantage of this situation without hurting Samantha's feelings.
Arthur suddenly turned around and looked at Vivienne coldly while raising an eyebrow as if asking her what she was planning to do next.
Samantha screamed over the phone: "Who is that bitch? Are you with another woman? Where are you guys? Tell me now!"
"There's no one here except us," Arthur replied calmly while walking towards Vivienne.
