Chapter 49: I Am Your Father
Qin Muxuan got out of her bedroom and dialed back. Yin Youting picked up the phone in no time while saying in an anxious voice,
“Xuan, you didn’t return to your apartment last night. Where did you go?”
Having glanced at the door behind her, Qin Muxuan said in a low voice,
“Yin Youting, thanks for taking care of me during this period. I’ve already returned to Gu’s house. Xiaobai needs me.”
The line was quiet for a moment, which gave Qin Muxuan a nervous feeling. If it was possible, she wished that she didn’t need to bother Yin Youting anymore. After all, she was not the lady of the Qin Family now.
After a long while, Yin Youting’s voice came through from the line,

Then the busy signal sounded in the phone. Qin Muxuan put her cell phone in her pocket and turned around to go back to her bedroom. The moment she pushed the door open, she saw Gu Zijin leaning against the wall while staring at her with coldness in his eyes. He asked,
“Who were you talking with on the phone?”
“Yin Youting.”
Qin Muxuan felt there was no need to lie since there truly was nothing between her and Yin Youting. Gu Zijin uttered “um” and stared at Qin Muxuan’s pretty face. Then he put his hand on Qin Muxuan’s waist and held her in his arms. Before Qin Muxuan had time to react, she already felt the man’s hot breath.

Hearing that tender and adorable voice, Qin Muxuan suddenly came back to her sense and pushed Gu Zijin away. Gu Zijin touched his thin lips with his fingers while watching Qin Muxuan escaping as if he was still relishing that moment.
