Chapter 210: Whose Fault
Noticing the teacher’s uneasiness, Qin Muxuan took a deep breath. Holding back her tears, Qin Muxuan consoled the teacher, “Don’t worry. It’s not your fault. We’ll work it out.”
No matter how composed she looked, others could notice Qin Muxuan’s dull eyes. She only needed the news saying that Xiaobai was safe.
Turning to those parents, the teacher said,
“Mrs. Sun, Mrs. Tan, I know Sun Zhihao and Tan Tang are just kids, but we should deal with the problem after Xiaobai’s fine. It’s inappropriate to talk about that right now.”
The teacher was tender-hearted, but the way she handled things was naïve. It seemed that she had just graduated from a college.

Lisa spoke in a formal and soft tone. However, everyone could sense danger from her words. As Gu Zijin’s assistant, she proved her mettle.
The doctor came out of the operation room. Qin Muxuan struggled out of Gu Zijin’s arms apprehensively. She hurried towards the doctor.
“How’s my son?”
“Though the pen didn’t prick the eyeball, it’s serious. He will be visually impaired, but he might recover over a period of time.”
‘Might?’
Qin Muxuan’s heart bled badly as if she were drowned in the ocean. She couldn’t breathe. The next moment, she tried to step into the ward to see Qin Xiaobai.
However, she was stopped by the doctor, “Sorry, my lady. The patient needs rest now. You can visit him when the condition’s stable.”
“…All right.” Qin Muxuan struggled to calm down.
“And… Little Master’s a star, right?” The doctor asked in a wondeirng tone.
“Yes.”
“Keep him away from shows recently. Shooting and spotlight will ruin his eye. It’s better to attend a show after he recovers.”
Gu Zijin and Qin Muxuan extended their thanks to the doctor, asking Lisa to lead those parents outside.
