“I have said everything I need to say. Is Mr. Webster stopping me to test my grappling technique

again?”

Janet stared at the man, her lips pursed into a downward arc, obviously unhappy.

However, Nathaniel was not a person who would be threatened. He stood in front of her and frowned.

“What is the relationship between you and that man?”

He followed Janet for no reason, wanting to explain the thing concerning Deanna to her.

However, for some reason, scenes of Nigel protecting Janet and Janet’s carefree look appeared in his

mind.

There seemed to be a voice shouting in his heart, trying to figure out the relationship between her and

Nigel,

Hearing this, Janet was stunned.

Immediately, the displeasure on her face deepened. “Does this have anything to do with you, Mr.

Webster?” she asked. Nathaniel couldn’t answer. Yes, it had nothing to do with him. They had already

divorced, but he stubbornly wanted an answer.

He wanted to know every man who was close to Janet.

“The way he looked at you was strange. It was obvious that he wanted to plot against you!” Nathaniel

frowned.

In Nathaniel’s opinion, Nigel didn’t look like a good man with a pair of charming eyes, and he might

have messed around with many women. However, Nathaniel had forgotten that in Janet’s eyes, he was

the worst.

Janet found it even funnier.

A man who had been unfaithful to her for three years wasn’t qualified to say that someone else was up

to no good.

What right did an ex-husband have to criticize his ex-wife?

“Don’t think too much about it. I’m doing this for your good. I’m afraid you won’t be able to distinguish

between good men and bad men.” Nathaniel noticed Janet’s undisguised mockery.

“This is my business. Don’t worry about it.”

Janet took a step back, her red lips pursed into a distant smile, her gaze Indifferent. “Since Mr. Webster

is free, why don’t you consider the next bid? It won’t be an honorable thing if you lose.”

When she needed him, he didn’t even glance at her. Now that she didn’t need him, why did he care

about her?

This undisguised mockery made Nathaniel angry, but he couldn’t flare up.

Looking at Janet who was about to leave, he held back his anger and warned her, “Janet, I advise you

not to participate in the bidding. You don’t know the software well, and the Longfellow Group is not

good at it either. Come to New-Media Industry Convention to take a look and gain some knowledge.

Don’t force yourself.”

Hearing this, Janet stopped.

She turned back to look at Nathaniel, feeling amused as she asked him, “How do you know that I don’t

know software? Nathaniel who do you think you are? What do you know about me? I think you don’t

understand software.”

The man was rendered speechless by her words. His lips were still slightly open. He was obviously a

little surprised.

Why didn’t he feel that Janet had a sharp tongue In the past?

Although he wasn’t proficient in software, he was quite knowledgeable. Moreover, the Webster Group

had a professional team for software development and new media operations. The Longfellow Group

was not competitive in front of the Webster Group.

Seeing that Nathaniel had stopped talking. Janet continued, “Don’t meddle in my affairs. Take care of

yourself.”

Hearing this, Nathaniel frowned. “Janet, I’m giving you advice. Don’t get the Longfellow Group into

trouble because of your momentary

anger. The Webster Group must and will win the bid. You can’t defeat us.”

Advice?

Janet sneered and wondered, isn’t it a waming?

But if I retreat. I’m not Janet. © 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.

Get the Longfellow Group into trouble?

Is he looking down on me?

“Let’s give it a try.” Janet said, raising her eyebrows slightly. “It is still unknown who will win. We will see

the result when the time comes!”

Janet left without looking back after saying those harsh words.

Looking at her receding back, Nathaniel felt irritated.

After Janet divorced him, she had become bolder and repeatedly argued with him. He had tolerated her

before, but it was different this

time.

The Webster Group had to win the bid. Since Janet did not listen to his advice, she’d better not cry

when she suffered a loss.
