However, Nathaniel was emotionless.

The front part of the sports car driven by Nathaniel was destroyed badly.

Frowning, Orville decided to lose his temper towards Nathaniel after checking the car, while Janet did

The way Janet said it really irritated him, and Nathaniel believed that she was helping the gigolo.

had been ruined by Nathaniel.

Hearing that, Orville felt terrible.

It seemed that Janet was apologizing for what Nathaniel had done.

Thinking of what had happened between them. Orville began to get nervous.

Shaking head, Orville said gently. “It’s alright. It was Nathaniel who did that.”

As he spoke, Orville couldn’t help but want to touch Janet’s cheek.

Noticing that, Janet dodged slightly, which made Orville feel uncomfortable, but he just gave up.

“Did he hurt you when you stayed together?”

Orville wanted to make sure that because of what Nathaniel had done.

Janet Just shook her head and said nothing.

Orville said with pursed lips. “If he has done something stup*d, just tell me, and I will give him a lesson

for you.”

“Nothing.”

And Janet changed the topic deliberately. “It seems that your rear bumper is broken, which means we

have to change the plan.”

Orville stopped asking because of her reaction.

Suppressing his anger for what happened, Orville started to appease Janet with a lovely look.

“It’s okay, and your gift is precious enough for me, as for dinner, we could take that later.”

“If you are really sorry, you have to show up at my every birthday in the future.”

Hearing what he said, Janet felt more guilty.

Orville was such kind!

Much better than the selfish and arrogant Nathaniel!

Janet agreed without thinking.

She couldn’t accept his love, because that was unfair to him, but it was alright to celebrate his birthday

as one friend.

Nodding, Janet said after checking the time. “It’s getting late, so I’ll go back. Maybe you should repair

the car.”

Orville realized that Janet was tired without knowing the exact reason, but it must be related to

Nathaniel.

Thinking of that, he wanted to send her home but remembered that his car could not drive.

“It’s a pity. Please watch out.”

“Okay,” answered Janet, and she left.

Looking at her until her body disappeared in his sight, Orville got angry again for the broken car.
