My Mommy’s Brave Heart

Chapter 926

Chapter 926

Chapter 926 Harold pursed his lips tightly. Recently, George had been repeatedly telling him that their mommy was in a bad mood, and he had asked him not to offend her. He had seen his mommy sternly correct the servants a few times when they did something wrong.

Once, he heard the servants privately discuss how his mommy was getting increasingly bad tempered. He wanted to refute them, but he could not do it because he also felt that his mommy was becoming less and less like the mommy who used to love and pamper him unconditionally.

Alden had mentioned that their mommy would be back to normal following a new year and new atmosphere.

But why did he sense that things were getting worse? “Mommy, did you really break Aunt Jasmine‘s finger?” Harold opened his mouth and softly asked.

The relaxed atmosphere that Adina had tried to create instantly froze.

“That woman isn‘t your aunt,” Duke said indifferently. “She insulted your late grandma and your mommy. Having her finger broken is the price she has to pay.”

Harold pursed his lips and did not look into the issue again.

The gloomy atmosphere in the car lasted until they arrived at the mansion. When they watched the countdown show at night, the children did not seem very interested either. Melody was the most innocent kid, but even she looked gloomy when she sat on the couch in silence.

Adina sighed deeply.

The mistress of a family had a big impact on the family unit. Now that she was the way she was, all of her children dared not even speak loudly.

Melody had initially been autistic, but she was finally behaving like an ordinary kid. Would her autistic worsen again after Adina frightened her?

“I‘m a little sleepy, so I‘ll go upstairs and rest. Enjoy the show.”

Adina got up and headed to the bedroom.

Duke stared at the television as he pursed his lips tightly. He had been trying to keep the Winters family the same as it was in the past, but the sensitive children were already aware of everything.

Despite that, they never cried or made a fuss. Besides, they also tried to create happiness and harmony in the family with him.

However, once Addy‘s emotions were triggered, the kids would automatically hide in their

own shells.

Even George and Alden, who were the most sensible, had slowly become quiet over the past half a month.

Duke got up and walked to the cabinet before he opened it and took out four boxes. He carried the boxes and placed them in front of the children. “These are your New Year presents.” Harold‘s eyes finally lit up. “Did you prepare these for us, Daddy?” “It wasn’t me. It was your mommy.” Duke flashed him a faint smile. “Open it and see if you like it.”

Harold quickly unboxed the gift. It was a smart remote–control aircraft, and it was an assembly model that could transform. It was the toy that he had been longing for all this time.

“Wow! I love Mommy!” Harold jumped around on the couch. “This toy is a limited edition. How did Mommy buy it?”

Duke chuckled. “It‘s good that you like it.”

“Wow! Princess Aisha‘s dress!” Melody took out a gown from her box and held it against her body. “This dress is gorgeous. It‘s more beautiful than all the Princess Aisha dresses I‘ve ever seen.”

Duke‘s voice was gentle. “Your Mommy made this dress herself. It has more than two hundred gems, all of which were sewn on by her.” Melody appeared to be really touched. “Can I go and thank Mommy?”

Duke carried her. “You can do it tomorrow. Mommy‘s resting now.” George unboxed his gift box next. It was an oil painting, and he could immediately tell that his mommy had painted it. This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.

Alden‘s gift was a laptop. It had the best configuration, and many features that were essential for a hacker had been installed.
