She sighed deeply and threw back the phone. Sitting there numbly for a while, she picked up her mobile phone again and found a close colleague in the lawyer team.
"Cora Cao, do you know any detective agency?" Although Lily tried to ignored, subconsciously, she believed what Lois said.
"What do you want to investigate?" On the other end of the phone, Cora Cao paused and added, "different detective agencies focus on different dimensions."
Lily bit her lips and decided to conceal the truth. "Can you recommend a more comprehensive detective agency?"
Cora Cao promised instantly and sent her a phone number.
"Thank you." Lily said and hung up the phone. Lily was about to call that number, but she hesitated for a while and finally shook her head. She turned off the screen.
"Let's talk about it tomorrow." She put down the phone and climbed back to the bed. Tossing and turning, she couldn't fall asleep.
So late at night, Lily finally made sure that Kevin wouldn't come here.
Lily felt upset, then she decided to get up to work, trying to numb her brain used work. As soon as she opened the mailbox, she saw an email from ZY Group.
She hurriedly clicked on it. It was an invitation.
The ZY Group had successfully won the hundredth order from abroad. Next week, they decided to hold a celebration banquet and invited all the agents and cooperated groups from all over the world to come there.
The project had been handed over to her, so it was normal to send the invitation to her email.
Lily stared the E-mail and sent it to Kevin.
"Mrs. Qin, it's time to go to bed." The maid knocked at the door gently.
She was shocked by this sudden sound and shivered unconsciously, looking at the sound source with bright eyes. After a while, she came to herself and responded in a slow way, "I know."
She knew clearly that it was an order from Kevin. In normal times, the servants couldn't ask what time their master should have rest. Sighing with profound resignation, she closed her computer, rushed to her bed and turned off the light.
They didn't make up, but she didn't want to continue to be angry with Kevin on such a trifle.
After she lay down on the bed, she drifted off to sleep.
When she was woken up by the servant the next day, she was still sleepy. She waved her hand and pulled her head deeper in the quilt. "I'll lie down for another ten minutes."
"Hey, Lily, you are running late," The man's cold voice rang in her ears.
Lily was shocked by the voice. She opened her eyes immediately. She stuck out her pink tongue, licked her dry lips and lifted the quilt. Without a glance at Kevin, she began to clean up and brush her teeth.
Although Kevin was treated rudely, he didn't show any discontent. On the contrary, he was waiting by her side with good tempered.
But Lily ignored him. After washing her face and brushing her teeth, she came back to the living room. There were still two hours left before work hours. She felt distressed and gritted her teeth. She still felt a little angry when she sat down at the table.
It took less than half an hour from home to the company. She stayed up late last night because she didn't sleep well. But now she was forced to get up by Kevin.
Kevin seemed not to feel her anger. After they finished breakfast silently, they left home at the same time.
The girl at the front desk saw the boss's attitude to Lily yesterday, so she greeted them respectfully, "Mr. Qin, Mrs. Qin."
Lily gave the girl a ferocious stare, but didn't say anything.
Didn't she have a name? Why call her Mrs. Qin!
Lily trotted to her office without even looking at Kevin, planning to start her work today. However, before she start, a secretary came in and said, "Mrs. Qin, I'm sorry. Mr. Qin asked me to hand over ZY Group's case."
"Why?" Lily frowned.
It was less than a week since she took over ZY Group's case, and most of things had been sorted out. It was just a matter of time to get the contract.
"Well... I'm afraid you have to ask Mr. Qin. " The secretary looked at her with embarrassment.
Being aware that she wouldn't get the truth from her mouth, she tapped the table with her finger joints and made the click sound.
She thought for a while and looked at the secretary. "Wait a moment. I'll ask him. If he really means that, I'll hand over the files to you later, okay? "
The secretary nodded without hesitation.
It's unexpected that ZY Group's case had been handed over from the Secretary Department to Lily before. Now they should take it back. It was unacceptable.
Fortunately, Lily was sensible and didn't make things difficult for her.
The secretary breathed a sigh of relief. After greeting Lily, she left the office.
The more Lily thought about it, the angrier he became. Enduring the overwhelming anger, she strode to Kevin's office and questioned, "why did you cancel my work?"
"Not cancel just change other one,"
Kevin's words amused her. "You are really something, Mr. Qin. Arranged all works as you wished."
As if for fun.
Kevin didn't reply, and he continued to deal with the documents in his hands without raising his head. Seeing that there was no response after a long time, Lily's brain became dark. She rushed to Kevin as if she was possessed, knocking heavily on his table.
A loud noise came from the table. The pain was spreading from her palm, reminding her of what had just happened.
But still, Kevin didn't care about it at all, which completely irritated Lily. She ground her teeth, "I hope Mr. Qin can give me a reasonable explanation."
"I just want to." Kevin suddenly raised his head and looked at Lily with sharp eyes.
Hearing that, Lily was stunned. But she didn't try to avoid his gaze, she stared at Kevin directly.
About three minutes later, Lily was the first one to give in. She pouted her lips and responded, "Yes, yes. You are the boss. I've almost completed the project ZY Group. I won't transfer it to another party."
As soon as she finished her words, she walked out of the office directly before Kevin could react.
On the way, she ran into Cora Cao.
Looking at Cora Cao, Lily nodded as a greeting.
But Cora Cao didn't let her go. "Are you okay, Lily?" she asked.
She knew it was about the fainted yesterday, Lily grinned and said, "I'm fine. I just worked too hard that I didn't have a good rest."
