Chapter 27
Chapter 27
At this exact moment, the Igragon already gathered and were collectively on their way to Drunham City. Louie, too, finished settling his affairs in Athenapolis and was making his way there.
The Igragon were such a large group of warriors that naturally, their presence caught the attention of the Federal Aviation Department, who quickly relayed the message to the various branches of the Igragon’s journey.
Everyone in the Federal Aviation Department was wondering whether something terrible happened in Drunham City that required the Igragon’s intervention. They sent their people out to find out if anything was wrong in Drunham City, but sadly their searches were futile. No one knew what the Igragon were there for, all that was known was their destination. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
Liam returned to the living room of Jade Manor, where Albert waited. He leaped to his feet and reported to Liam, “Sir, the Pendragon and Igragon Warriors are all ready for battle. The first elite Igragon team arrived in Drunham City last night, and the rest will arrive tomorrow! Unfortunately, Young Master Cole got caught up in Athenapolis and will only be arriving here in three days!”
“Very
ery well. Ask Louie to help me investigate whether the Walkers have any connections with anyone in Athenapolis!” Liam replied, nodding as he gazed out at the distance in deep thought.
“By the way, Sir, the Four Elders have all arrived in Drunham City as well as per Master Cole’s orders,” Albert added.
The Four Elders were the only people whom the assistants respected, aside from Liam himself, of course. The Four Elders practiced the ancient arts and were among the most powerful men on this
earth
with no known human able to defeat them aside from Liam and Arthur.
“Alright. Let them stay in Emerald Manor and tell them that anyone who dares to trespass into Jade Mahor will be killed. Order the rest of the warriors to stand guard outside Drunham City borders, but take care not to expose themselves or become a nuisance to the citizens,” Liam ordered as he stared in the direction of the Walkers’ mansion.
‘Most powerful family in Drunham City, eh? We shall see!’ he thought to himself.
Meanwhile, at Walker Mansion, Morgan rushed home after hearing the news of Trent’s fate.
The living room of Walker Mansion was held up with gigantic pillars with golden griffins carved into them. Morgan was seated in his armchair, scowling down at Jonas and the rest of his men from his towering height.
“Thud!” he slammed his hand against the table so forcefully that his cup fell over the edge and broke into smithereens. However, he ignored this and instead bellowed, “How dare that twat bully my son like that? Who does he think he is, messing with us in our territory? What did he say after taking Trent away?”
Morgan was infuriated by this. He could not believe that someone would have the guts to injure his son right in his territory! This was an insult to his power and status!
Jonas and the rest of the Walkers were equally furious. Jonas replied, “Morgan, he told us to meet him at Jade Manor in seven days! If we use our connections to summon help, I’m sure we can take him down once and for all!”
