Chapter 45: CHAP 45 : DEAL

* THE NEXT DAY *

"Ring! Ring!" Jax groaned as he reached for the annoying noice that disturbed his peaceful sleep.

Picking his phone up, he saw his master's name written.

He sprung up, immediately answering the ringing phone call. "Yes sir!" he urgently answered. "Jax,

hurry to the organization. Jason Ghate was found dead" Zion states, Jax hurrying to put his jacket on.

"Yes sir! I'm on my way!!" he answered before grabbing his wallet and keys, shoving them in his

pocket, and hurrying to the organization, running past the just woke up Fae.

Tilting her head, she shrugged it off as she proceeded to the kitchen to wash her face and wake herself

up.

-

"Breakfast is ready" Fae says as the duo sit down, the maids gently putting their foods down the table.

"Thank you" Evalyn yawns as she takes a sip of water.

"Where's sir Jax??" Fleur asks, taking a bite of her breakfast. "Went of running somewhere" Fae This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.

answers, drinking her coffee. "Did something happen??" Evalyn asks, Fae shrugging her shoulders.

--

Turning on the TV, Fleur sits beside Fae on their fuzzy high class couch. "What's the catch?" Evalyn

asks, who just came from the sink after having her teeth brushed.

"Jason Ghate, CEO of Fathom Company, found dead on the river on the property on xxx street-" the

news went on, the trio dumbfounded by what they just heard.

"What are you doing kid?? You still have classes" Evalyn pesters, Fluer pouting. "Yes yes, gluttony

sister... I'm gonna get ready now" she stands up to get ready for school.

"You think their 'boss' killed him?? Or did our organization did it??" Evalyn asks, sitting beside her silent

friend. "Maybe" she answers. Closing the TV, the duo also get ready for work.

~*~*~*~*~

"Then I'll be going!" Fleur states, putting on her shoes. "You sure we don't have to drop you off??"

Evalyn questions, hands on her waist. "Nope, I'll be fine with taking the taxi. Bye bye!" she waves as

she rushes outside, hurrying to her school.

"Let's go to the organization in case we have changes in our mission" Fae claimed, her friend nodding

in agreement.

-

"What's the ruckus all about?" Evalyn asks a colleague, walking inside the organization. "Apparently,

the leader of the Northern Border is challenging boss Zion to a fight" she exclaims.

"Wait what??" Evalyn quickly rushes to where the scene is taking place, followed by Fae. The Northern

and Southern border's people are circling around the two leaders.

"What?? Come and fight me coward! What's wrong? Afraid of me? hmm??" the leader provoked. "With

all due respect, all these past years we have been minding our own business as the Northern and

Southern borders" Zion exclaimed, his voice calm and collected.

"And we're tired of it! If only our previous leader hadn't passed away you would still be in the lower level

doing your job!" the leader growled. "Yeah!! Get out!! You don't deserve to be called leader!!" the

Northern border's people protested.

"Watch your words if you want your head intact" Jax growled back. "Hah! Try us you bunch of Southern

weaklings!!" the leader scoffs. "Why don't we make a bet? Whoever catches Sweet Hell's leader will

ruler over both borders. And the loser, shall be humiliated and shamed forever" Zion proposed.

"Ahaha!! Still being arrogant?? Fine! Everyone of you here, listen and take note to that agreement this

coward had proposed. And I, as the leader of the Northern border, gladly accept, this challenge! See

you in the lower class" he smirked, before he and his men retreated.

"Those assholes" Evalyn clicked her tongue in annoyance. "Hey where are you going?" she grabs her

friend's arm, stopping her.

"We need to ask sir Jax if our mission have changed" she answered. "We don't have to, we'll just have

to wait for their orders. Come on, we're gonna be late for work" she states, tugging her friend gently as

Fae gives up and follows her steps.
