Chapter 35 Weighing the Pros and Cons
Chapter 35 Weighing the Pros and Cons
Justin thought he would be happy if Lucia agreed, but no. Lucia couldn't let go of the child she had with
Victor, but she was able to give up the child she had with himself, well, she really hated him.
This day at noon, while Lucia was taking a nap, Justin carried Eva to the swimming pool. Justin floated
in the water, put the child on his chest, Eva happily patted the water splash, giggling.
Her short legs kept stirring in the water. Justin looked at the child's long eyelashes and mouth and
found that she looked like Lucia when she was a child.
He was supposed to have a child with Lucia, only Lucia then seemed more important than the child.
"Eva, say daddy."
"Daddy." Eva giggled as Justin held her armpits, leaving her floating in the water and stirring her legs in
it.
Justin looked at Eva, "I teach you to dive, ok?"
Eva nodded.
"Eva, breathe in like me!" Justin carried the child and dived into the water in one go. As she suddenly
sank into the water, Eva was extremely scared and opened her mouth in fear, the water produced a
string of bubbles!
Lucia went to the pool after she woke up and when she saw this scene, she was so scared that she
jumped into the pool and swan in the direction of Justin.
Eva choked and coughed violently as she reemerged from the water, her cries miserable and shrill.
Lucia shouted angrily at Justin, "You want to kill her, don't you! Don't you! You're so cruel! She's just a
child!" She swam to shore with Eva in her arms, running and shouting in fear for the doctor!
Justin then knew he had made a mistake, and the little trust he had took effort to build up was all
ruined.
Lucia did not say a word to Justin for two months and did not even want to be at the same table with
Justin for dinner. NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.
One day, Eva wanted to paint, Lucia could not find paper and pencil everywhere, but she did not want
to command Justin's maid, so she went to Justin's study.
When she found out that Justin had a ligation and could no longer have children, her shoulders
trembled. The real love and hate that had been hidden in her heart finally broke out, and she plopped
down in Justin's study, crying.
Justin stood outside the door but he didn't dare to knock. He didn't know how to settle it, would Lucia
hate him even more? Because she wanted to stay away from him so badly.
Justin quietly turned back to his room, saying there was no need to call him for dinner.
At eleven o'clock at night, Lucia walked into Justin's room, stood at the end of his bed and asked, "Are
you asleep?"
Justin said no and sat up. After turning on the light, he gazed at Lucia quietly, but he was emotional.
Not knowing if today's event had stimulated this woman's fragile nerves, he dare not explain.
"You're the heir to the Sutton family." Lucia said coldly.
"Yes."
"Do you know what ligation means?" Lucia clenched her fist, her voice was calm, but her eyes were
already sore.
"I know."
"Since so, why did that?"
"I have weighed the pros and cons." He answered with aplomb, as if he had never hesitated and never
regretted it.
Lucia gritted her teeth and smiled coolly, "Pros and cons? What kind of pros and cons make you do
that?"
"You won’t want to listen to it and you won’t believe me." It wasn't that Justin didn't want to tell Lucia,
but he was not used to say sweet words and Lucia had been refusing to listen to him.
