Mr Grant, Please Be Gentle

Chapter 219 Matthew Got Injured

Matthew was undoubtedly good-looking, but in the dim light, his handsome face looked somewhat terrifying.

At least, his murderous eyes terrified the gangster.

“D*mn it!” The gangster cursed. He shouldn’t have started the fight if he had known Matthew was so skilled.

Matthew was unarmed, but he had defeated the gangster who had a knife. However, Matthew also got his hand injured when he fought with the gangster.

His hand was bleeding.

The gangster had passed out. Matthew kicked him away and looked at the bar behind him. Forget it. Maybe Charles was playing with women now. He didn’t want to disturb Charles.

“Curtis, come to take me back,” Matthew finally called Curtis and told him the address. About ten minutes later, Curtis came here quickly. When he came, Matthew was leaning against the wall and seemed a little tired, while a man was lying on the ground. Curtis looked closely and found that it was a man.

“Mr. Grant, what happened?”

Curtis hurried to ask, but Matthew just kept his head down and waved his hand. Curtis finally saw the wound on Matthew’s hand. He was shocked but didn’t dare to ask when he saw Matthew’s cold eyes. Matthew said, “Take him back and let him speak.”

“Yes, sir.”

Curtis asked the bodyguard to take the gangster away, and Curtis drove Matthew back in person. On the way back, he smelled the alcohol from Matthew, so he couldn’t help asking, “Mr. Grant, were you there for a drink?”

“Of course.”

Did he look like going there for a fight?

After Matthew said that, he leaned against the back and closed his eyes for rest. He, who was always calm and omnipotent, looked a little tired. Curtis didn’t ask any more questions and sent Matthew back quietly.

The wound on his hand had been simply bandaged and scabs had already formed. He went upstairs in the darkness. Under the moonlight, he saw Blanca curling up on the bed. It seemed that this little woman didn’t feel safe when she was staying here alone.

What an ungrateful girl.

Matthew complained. He was tired, so he went to take a shower and went to bed directly.

“Um…”

Blanca, who was sleeping, felt that someone had got on the bed. She muttered discontentedly and then fell asleep again. In her dream, her grandma was smiling at her and touching her face gently.

“Blanca, I’ll send you to a school when you grow up.”

“I won’t go to school. I want to be with you all the time,” The little girl pouted. She was wearing shabby clothes that her neighbors had abandoned, and the sleeves looked a little long for her.

Hearing this, her grandma frowned and said, “You must be educated in the school. I will be angry if you don’t go to school.”

“Grandma, please don’t be angry. Blanca is a good girl. I will study hard and earn a lot of money. Then I will buy a big house for you so that you don’t have to work so hard.” Blanca held her grandma’s neck and kissed her cheek.

Then everything changed. She just came back from work and saw a group of people surrounding her house. They were shouting and discussing. She was shocked and quickly threw away the things in her hands and ran over. She saw her grandma fainted at the door. Blanca grabbed her hand and shouted in panic, “Hurry up! Please call an ambulance! Grandma… Hold on…”

Blanca cried in her dream. She felt so sad that she even couldn’t breathe. She suddenly woke up from the dream. When Blanca opened her eyes, she saw Matthew sleeping next to her. He didn’t seem to be sleeping well, because he was frowning slightly.
