Mistake With The Alpha Chapter 134
Allison's POV
Diana's eyes didn't leave me for a second as if I was going to run any moment. She doesn't know me, I'm not one who loves to run from my troubles. I face it. I made sure my eyes on her too weren't in any way wavering. The wizard I brought to her had already helped himself by going to sit on a rock. He had on him an interesting look as if waiting for what was going to happen. This is surely an entertainment to his old, huge face.
"I'm not going to spare her this time around Omar. She had stepped on my toes way too much" Diana said.
I was waiting for the worst. Werewolves are powerful creatures too. We have fast reflexes that a witch would never have. If I'm fast enough I can win her but then that's not going to come true because of the wizard I brought to her. We'll be that it may, I'll definitely fight her with all my strength.
"Please Diana...... Please" my father pleaded.
"Don't worry yourself too much Omar, I'm not ready to kill her now. I'm just going to make her suffer a little".
She laughed this kind of mysterious laugh and it was super annoying. I wish I had something that I can use to wipe off that stupid laugh from her face. Then all of a sudden she started to chant incantations.
"Liot.... Zu.... Zy..... Len da terzhi... Te te na rayieni tree!!!"
Her eyes then were pitch dark when she was chanting those words. I should have known that she wouldn't fight fair. Before I could say anything, I could feel something creeping on my body. At first it was one but then I began to see them in hundreds crawling on my skin. They were doing me any harm but then they were tickling.
Looking at the thing looking like spiders, I felt really irritated.
"What are you doing?" I shouted at her.Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
I tried to wade off the ants but then surprisingly, I couldn't touch them. It's as if they are not there. I could see them and feel their movements on my body but I couldn't touch them. They seem not to be hurting me for now but I know sooner or later, they will. "Why don't you let's fight fair you scheming bitch!" I shouted.
My words were useless but as the die-hard person that I am, I won't go down easily.
"Allison!" My father shouted.
I glared at him for calling my name.
"You think I'm not fair enough?" She asked, laughing her annoying laugh.
Just as the laughter appeared, it also disappeared. Now her look looked so devilish.
"Fighting you far is not what I can't do. The one I'm pitying is none other than the man who fathered you. But then if you think I'm not fair enough, I'll.....
Diana raised her hand wanting to chant again but my father stopped him.
"No! No! No! Diana please" my father cried out.
He then turned to me with a raging eyes.
"You fool! How dare you waste all my effort. How so ungrateful are you to make me want to see pain even in all these grievances that we are? Do you think I'm your puppet that I'll keep on cleaning up your mess!!!"
He shouted at me. His voice echoed in the woods. I felt sad and frowned at how he spoke to me. It's not as if he didn't know I don't like that witch.
"If she kills you, there's nothing I'll be able to do that will be grieved," he said to me through a mind link.
I was breathing so hard and fast. I didn't say anything to him. I just stood there watching him. The only thing that can make me voice out is if he asks me to apologise to the witch. Even if she kills me, I won't apologise to her. Well my father must be smart because he didn't ask me to do it.
"Your mercy is all the way great Diana. Thank you" my father said with a stiff smile.
Diana looked at my father and smiled. That her fake smile.
"It's fine. Let's proceed inside".
Her voice was calm but I'm not deceived. She let that wizard and my father go in first. My father kept glancing back at me. His face was filled with fear but at the end he went in anyways. He's just a puppet to that witch in my eyes. Diana gave me a last look before she too started to walk inside. I start to look at those ants on my body and think of what they'll do to me, the witch spoke.
"They are mandrake webs......"
Looking up, I saw that she was standing by the entrance of the cave.
"And what mandrake webs hate the most is the sun. If I'm to be you, I'll beware of the sun".
I don't understand that full but I still looked up. I was relieved when I saw that there was no sun.
"Giza looo...... Go...... lo....... Bete........ Sunny".
Her chant this time was very slow and there was a crispy smile on her face. After she was done chanting, she winked at me. I looked at her with disgust. She looked like a fool. I know that the witch's chant is to harm me but I'm waiting for it. But what happened next, was an entirely different story I didn't expect to tell.
The sun came out so bright all of a sudden. Then I realised that that witch's chant called out the sun. Just as the sun touched my body, those mandrake webs as she called it started to run around all over my body as if trying to escape. "This Chapter was originally published on joom. They looked quite agitated and scared, making them bite me so hard. Each bite ran through my brain like a knife sticker on my skin. The pain was so much that I couldn't help but shout in pain. I groaned and glared at the witch at the same time.
There was nowhere for me to hide. The sun was very bright everywhere, even under the trees, except the cave. I then ran towards the cave but Diana used her magic to send me back. I flew away when I hit my body hard on the rock which gave me another pain. I wished I had passed out from the fall.
"Because I'm letting you off the hook, it doesn't mean you are in any way a match for me. Next time you trespass, I won't in any way pity the tears your father does shed. I'll burn you alive".
I was looking fiercely at the witch but I couldn't say anything since I was screaming in pain. I tried not to but the pain was very unbearable. The witch might have done this today but I know that one day, I'll be able to make this woman fall at my feet and lick all the dust off my feet. She pays grievously for every pain she has caused me.
"Enjoy the sun," the witch said.
With this, she walked into the cave majestically. I was where I was crying in pain while looking at the cave's entrance. I was in so much pain that my pride wouldn't make me stand up and walk to the cave. I just sat there waiting for the sun to go down. Better still, when the witch decides to let the sun go down.
