“Hello, Alpha Axel” Damien called and Hazel lowered her head in a small bow.

“Hi, Alpha Damien” She greeted but Axel pulled her up to stand straight.

“You are not just the leader of the white wolf pack, you are also my woman. Why do you need to bow to him?” Axel asked, his eyes on Damien, still glaring at him.

“Alpha Axel. You should be grateful to me for finding your body on time, if not you would be really gone”

“He found my body? What does he mean?” Axel asked, glancing towards Hazel who was now sipping a glass of wine.

“Your body was stolen, Alpha Damien and Clarissa found it. Come to think of it, you have not told me who stole it” she diverted her attention to Damien.

“His beta” Damien replied plainly.

“Davis? Impossible” Axel stated firmly.

“That is right, that is the truth” Clarissa walked towards them.

“Davis stole your body, Alpha Axel. He wanted you to completely die off so he would become the Alpha since you do not have an heir”

“Really? That was why he was trying to convince me not to do so? I even believed him easily when he told me he wasn’t with Axel’s body…”

“Where is Davis?” Axel asked, wanting to see him first.

“Have a search for him begin as soon as possible. I want him found.”

“He might have left the pack” Hazel suggested.

“Inform all other Alphas that no longer represents the Dark Wolf Pack. He will be a rogue wherever be goes to.”

“Why are you giving orders to me? I am not the beta” Clarissa remarked.

“Who else would become the beta then? Him?” Axel glanced at Damien who huffed.

“In my wildest dreams, you would be an ant” Axel replied.

The two Alphas locked eyes for some time before looking away.

Axel held Hazel by the waist and walked away from there.

“Are you really making me the beta?” Clarissa asked as he walked away.

“You start tomorrow” Axel replied, not looking back.

A wide smile appeared on the lips of Clarissa.

“So happy to become a beta?” Damien huffed.

“It’s a really good thing but Alphas like you who is the first Position in the pack would never understand the joy of being the second position in the pack” she replied.

“I would be leaving to my pack tonight. I have spent enough time here. I don’t want to tell Hazel myself. You do well to tell her about it for me”

Clarissa bit down on her bottom lips, seemingly struggling with her emotions for some time.

“You… You want your mate to go tell another woman that you would be leaving and how much you love her?” Clarissa asked.

“You are still thinking of us as mates?” Damien’s brows raised.

“I do not feel anything for you” he placed his right hand on her shoulder.

“Do what I asked you to do”

“I am sorry, Alpha Damien but I am not under any obligation to take orders from you.”

“Mommy” Sana had a wide smile on her face.

“Yes? You seem so happy” Hazel noted out as Sana approached with a maid by her side.

“The other kids were more than willing to play with me as soon as I got closer to them. I thought they will be like the adults, harsh and mean”

Hazel carried Sana into her arms.

“Of course not. Kids have pure hearts just like yours and don’t worry about it. Mommy and Daddy are striving to make the adults kind and lovable too” She assured Sana.

“That would be awesome” She grinned with a light smile on her face.

“Where is Daddy?”

“Daddy is so busy right now” Hazel replied and pointed towards Axel who was having a chat with some other Alphas.

“He just woke up but they won’t give him a break” she sighed softly.

“If Daddy needs rest, then you should help him to it, Mommy” Sana suggested.

“You know what? You are right” Hazel walked towards Axel and patted at his shoulder lightly with a polite smile on her face.

“Hazel, you should have a chat with us too after all you would be the Alpha of the White wolf pack once you get your full autonomy” one of the Alphas said.

“Didn’t I ask you to go in and have a rest already?” Axel asked her, his eyes scolding her.

“You need a rest more than I do.”

“I have spent a whole week doing nothing” Axel replied her in a mind link.

“You should really rest, Axel”

“I hope you all can excuse him. Even though a miracle occured, he needs to rest and recuperate fully” she looked at the Alphas.

“Yes, of course. You should go rest. We would enjoy the party” one of them said to Axel.

“Alright, I will take my leave now” he gave in and held Hazel’s free hand.

He leaned in and kissed Sana’s right cheek.

“We should rest and not go over the place. We have been through so much already and we have not had a single minute of rest yet. Whatever the issues might be, we would desk with it later on” Hazel said as they all walked towards the room.

Axel looked towards the crowd and found Clarissa in the crowd. He motioned her to come over and Clarissa did so.

“Here I am, Alpha Axel” she grinned in front of them.

“Why don’t you take Sana and go enjoy the party? I and Hazel badly need a rest”

“That’s right” Hazel affirmed and let Sana go to Clarissa.

“Godmother” Sana beamed with smiles.

“You were starting to forget me so fast, uhh?” Clarissa asked as she walked away with Sana.

“Now, let’s go rest” Axel grabbed her by the waist but there was something about the way he said the word ‘rest’ that made Hazel sure that they were not just going to rest.
